Albert Hammond's character is actually reference to the "The Getaway", another fantastic game. The main hero, named Mark Hammond is an ex London gangster, who's chasing the kidnappers of his son. Even the voice actor is the same.
wow thanks Jacob. I'm so glad Team Bondi didn't go completely under. from what i read its not a sequel persay its just a new game that Team Bondi is working on for the next gen consoles. But at least there is hope that they will explore the gritty and seedy side of LA in a future next gen sequel.
Albert Hammond is Mark Hammond's father. Mark Hammond is the lead character in 'The Getaway' set a few decades later in London. The Getaway went platinum in 2003 ...same director as LA NOIR and they used the same actor..same limey accent and voice check it out.....It's a cameo.
I doubt this is why Roy ratted out Cole truth is Roy never liked Cole they were complete opposites he only brought him on as a partner to boost his arrest stats in my opinion at the end of this story Roy started to see Cole's "good guy" act as a problem so he snitched to get rid him and further his own career
Trey Thompson I think he brought him as insurance, he wanted to get close to him, he knew he was with Elsa, he even mentions it in the Black Cesar. So this way if Roy fucks up or other people fuck up, he can sell you out to save his own ass, which is what he did.
Same, I only had one star but I did every thing right but on the interview with Edwards I only had one question correct. Also, when you had to tail her I failed a couple of times which probably means why I had one star
@@alanratajewski9467 No that's not how it works. The game guages your rating based on the damage you caused. Also, because of the fact there are 3 questions required for 5*, you need to get all of them right and not cause injuries and not cause more than $2,500 in vehicle damage.
This is easily the most sloppily written mission in the game. I understand why Roy wanted to go after Hammond but why was Cole going along with it? Say they caught him the way they thought they would and without a big gunfight, what would Cole do? Would he let Roy rob Hammond to get his money back? Or would Cole put him in protective custody making it so that it couldn't be ignored that the town's fights are rigged and that everybody in Ad Vice is in on it? Either way they ended up spending a full day on the job basically just wasting LAPD's time and resources. Also does anyone else think it odd that Candy got knocked out cold, woke up, shrugged it off, and answered the detective's questions despite them never introducing themselves as cops? I guess it's not the strangest part though because at 19:11 there's a guy SWEEPING THE GRASS. What the fuck L.A. Noire?
Sometimes the logic of this game is off. Of all the names the boxer could have signed in with, he went with Winston Churchill, and Cole is instantly able to figure that out. There wasn't even a clue to indicate he might go with that name, except that the guy was English. Some clue. Then just because a movie ticket is in Candy's purse, Cole deduces that the boxer must be hiding at the movie theater. Don't get me wrong. I love this game. It's just the writing got pretty flimsy at times.
i'm 8 years late so i don't know if you will read this, but whatever. one half of the movie ticket was in candy's purse, and the other half was in the boxer's apartment. that's why phelps deduced he could be there.
33:22 - what is he pointing at? Bang-bang-bang - later: bang-bang-bang. That's a Colt 6 shooter and he is all out. Later he fires like crazy again. At least show him re-load. It's fast with that kind of model: swing out the cylinder, drop the empty shells, pop new rounds in, cylinder back in: shoot. This game has more attention to detail than most movies, they even know their guns. No need for that old impossible Hollywood revolver that can fire about 20 rounds.
To the guy who asked why vice cops are taking on this. Vice detectives handle any case involving crimes of 'moral failing' (their words, not mine) like prostitution, illicit gambling, drugs, etc. if it isn't a straight homicide, traffic accident, burglary, there's likely some vice involvment.
Ok so I’m replaying this game. I’ve been playing it on PS4 and doing walkthroughs so each case plays out perfectly. I go to the bus station and sit down. I hear a noise and almost everyone gets up and leaves, running. I didn’t hear a scream or a gunshot, it sounded like a ringing and then everyone gets up and runs away. So naturally I run with them. Where are we running? No one will tell me. They just scatter. That’s when I go back to discover her dead body and realized oh they heard a gunshot and a scream probably. Best part? Couple guys didn’t leave. Totally normal day for them I guess.
Yes, they do. You'll be penalized for the amount of damages to vehicles and city property as well as injuries on innocent citizens. You'd have to do a lot of that stuff in order to get a one star, though.
I did everything exactly in the video, but it didn't give it to me until I restarted the mission again, I was like wtf xD , it was just taking its time on giving it to me which is weird.
Well, Vice does more than just investigating drugs, they're in charge of investigating prizefighting rackets, prostitution rackets including human trafficking, pornography, you name it. Also illegal gambling.
There has to be another L.A. Noire with Uncharted 4 graphics and GTA 6 better then incahr 4 graphics and 2 main Protagonist 22 year old hot male and 20 year old hot female
