La Nuit de Lhomme vs. Dior Homme Intense 

I’ll go with the cheek clapping scent, La Nuit. 🔥🔥

Recently had 2 girls smelling my 70+ collection and one picked YSL La Nuit de L'Homme as her favorite, the other one Dior Homme Intense. 😎 I myself had more compliments while wearing La Nuit de L'Homme, by far. Dior Homme Intense gave me the most awkward compliment, namely by a niece at an uncle's funeral. ("My condolences. You smell nice." "Thank you. My condolences.")

Talk about no contest. While La Nuit de L'homme was certainly ground breaking, IMO, DHI is a masterpiece...a top five designer fragrance ever.

DHI tends to smell way better to me on my skin as compared to tester strips or from the bottle. it just does something on your skin and people always compliment it.

Nice job Melissa. I think DHI is more appropriate for older. For me DHI became so much better when sprayed like 8 times, vs 4. It brought out so much more, and my fondness only grew stronger.It may be harder for your gen to appreciate, and that by no means is a criticism. I think it's important to have age appropriate distinction attached to some of these reviews as I think it helps separate some indifferences. I personally love both and they each have a place.

I have them both and love both of them. La Nuit de L'Homme I like better. But I will always have both in my collection.

I love DHI, I can say this is pound town galore from my experience

I love DHI. As lipstick-y as it smells, it grew on me and the end note is just awesome. And even still, I love the Iris. LNDL is good, but it doesn't smell anything special to me. I kinda want more from it honestly. I'll probably get LNDL later down the line just to have it though.

I just ordered Dior Homme Parfum. I hope it’s worth it, the intense didn’t blow me away. I want the La Nuit de homme but I can’t stand underperforming fragrances. 8 hours minimum or I can’t buy it. Unless it’s $20.

I have both .. both are definitely amazing but, i’d slightly go with la nuit de lahomme 🎉

I get about a solid 6/7 hours off ysl la nuit de l'homme stays with me all day at the office I shower every morning and moisturize before applying 7 sprays and on another note I follow a good amount of frag influencers here on RU-vid and I never fail to gravitate back to this channel I just feel like Melissa is on point honest reviews imo

I have L’Homme Intense and I have to overspray that. So I think it’s a L’Homme thing of having to overspray.

I love Dior Homme 2020 with no iris,but I hate Dior Homme intense,La Nuit de L'Homme like you said is the lack of longevity but it smell awesome

A bit confused between your thoughts on DHI in this video, and your thoughts on it in your full review of DHI (when you said it was freaking gorgeous and you couldn't stop taking off the cap and smelling the atomizer). Not sure which video came out first, so maybe your full review of DHI was AFTER this one and you got to love it, but the opinion in those two videos seem at odds with each other.

I ordered Dior Homme Intense, my very first from the Dior Homme line and.... I'm returning or exchanging that plastic-y, lipstick smelling crap. I have better and sexier fragrances in my arsenal. I owned La nuit L'homme before. Nice frag but don't need to buy it again. Thanks, Melissa! 🤗

La nuit is my favorite, but never got any compliments for it except from my daughter.

Dior Homme Intense smells completely different on skin... and it is best worn at night/winter/date...it doesn't give justice if you just smell it in the bottle

Christian Dior Homme Intense features prominent notes of powdery lipsticky iris, boozy ambrette seeds + pear mixture with masculine cedar. I personally use this fragrance during either cuddling or for Netflix and Chill due to the powdery Cocoa butter vibe that I’ve gotten from the scent. I personally have a 4 years old fragrance and the fragrance is pungent due to the Ambrette and pear mixture but that is gone in the mid 😅. Side note : I’ve tested it on my girlfriend’s skin and it’s more makeup-y on her skin 😬. Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De L’homme is a Woody Spicy fragrance featuring prominent notes of aromatic Fougere lavender , fresh spicy cardamon pods and powdery caraway. In the opening, I do get a wet lipstick vibe but in the drydown I’m getting a really irresistible milky skin scent 😱. I’m personally using this fragrance as an all rounder for seductive casual occasions. When compared with the vintage formulations, the lavender is the most prominent together with the earthy vetiver thus giving it a fougere vibe but the drydown is super milky with hint of spice 😅.

DHI is to smell good for other guys and look deep into his eyes when he says you smell good. ... Not judging if that's your thing

I got a spray sample of Dior Homme from Macy's. It was okay but nothing stood out about it. Got my Escentric Molecule 01 today. Love it😃 On me, the woodyness is more pronounced, like cedar or pine. 8 sprays got me 7 hours of longevity. Think I can do better. Can't call the projection cause it's so in and out. Again.....this woody vibe is 💣 so pronounced, no cap. Will try layering tomorrow. Gonna go back and peep your video on 01 layering along with Tiff Benson's She did a good one too.

So did u change your opinion about DHI? Cause you said another things about it in a video u filmed 9 months ago. U said that it smells sexy and it is comfortin 😅

I put la Nuit de lhomme on my skin nd it lasted the whole evening. I cld smell myself even in bed.

for anyone trying to find an alternative i’d recommend guess seductive homme blue. it’s a mix between la nuit de lhomme and la nuit de lhomme lintense and i’d say it’s more of a accurate smell from the og formulations from ysl’s current formulation

DHI is not my fav fragrance in my collection as far as scent goes- yet i wear it the most Shit is lucky

La nuit could never compare to the greatness of DHI

LNDL was a bomb when it came out but its so dated now. The flankers are supposed to be more modern. You like any of them?
