I've been rocking this for the past 10 years as a signature scent. And even though lately my collection has incresed, I'm never gonna stop using it. 11/10 fragrance.
I bought this without smelling it and i dont regret it at all. Smells so good i find myself just standing in my living room spraying it even if im not going out, like i just need a hit. Addictive to say the least.
I bought this for my now husband 8 years ago and we’ve never looked back. 10/10. What a banger for designer. Our newest favorite is YSL tuxedo. Also 10/10

Agree with you 100%. I like the new version because of that. Now, it can be taken as versatile fragrance. The first versions were so strong that wasn't suitable for daily basis activities.
@@alecpierce9391 Have la nuit and just purchased L'homme, actually going to use lhomme as my everyday type scent with a few others, especially in spring/summer.
The only time it’s actually worked for me in terms of compliments is when I take a decant of it out & re spray every 45 minutes . The performance on it is shocking & it’s definitely not worth the inflated prices people are asking for it online . For the older batches that perform
I have Bleu Electrique, and just ordered this. Looking forward to layering the Bleu with LaNuit, as I've heard this is another option to assist with performance.
I agree, this could be a year round signature scent. Its fresh enough and the performance is low enough that it could be used in the summer. In the winter just spray more.
I have this and I really like it and not just on date nights. As far as the people on Fragrantica, a lot of their reviews just seem out of touch with the regular people who are going to smell you with the fragrance you are rocking. Sample and if you like something, get it.

I love it I have a 2014 batch of la Nuit OG and BE is spicy and sweeter imo idk if the ginger makes everything else pop or of the concentrate is just good but on my skin it last me 10hrs+ on these cooler days And I'm even finding myself spraying it at home because of how comfortable it is definitely my new signature until summer arrives
Both bangers. Similar to Carolina Hererra's "212 new york" and diptyque's "Tam dao". Both so similar, they are almost identical due to the strong sandalwood base notes. My wife can't even tell them apart. I don't wear either fragrance a large amount or anything, but I wear them both relatively frequently. Crazy thing is, "Tam Dao" is 205 bucks for the 100 ml bottle, whereas the "212" is like 60, lol. But, they both smell practically the same, and the longevity may even be better with "212", haha. Proof that "niche" and price dont always mean better. It's just that some people prefer organic and real ingredients, as opposed to synthetic..
For me it's Pasha de Cartier parfum, but I agree with you La Nuit de l'Homme smell very good and sexy but you have to spray more, that's not the case with Pasha, but it's not the same kind of perfume
I used to wear Lacoste cologne as my daily sprayer around 2010; But found out about the new YSL La Nuit and immediately purchased. Since then, Lacoste smells somewhat dated, but I have NEVER had that experience with YSL La Nuit. This may be a stretch, but I don't think this one will ever go out of style.
that is the truth.. this fragrance has given me the most sexy compliments through the years and till today followed by Tom ford nior extreme, Prada luna rosa black, le male le parfum and L'homme l'intense ..

When this cologne first came out, I caught one of those scent test folds in a magazine, I was at a Thanksgiving party in 2011 and smelled it, I fell so head over heels with the piece of paper😅 I took it home and went straight to Macy's paying nearly $150.00 on a gift set I planned to gift my late night booty call. Too bad he flaked on the holiday hot calls too many times, I never got to enjoy going feral with him. I wound up keeping the cologne for myself😂 another one I'm in love with is Prada sport Luna rossa. It's another well kept secret it seems. I have a friend that has abundance of designer everything, yet when I introduced the Prada sport Luna rossa to her nose, she was more than shocked at how great it was.
I finally smelt this fragrance, and it is phenomenal. It smells so good. It’s smells so good I kept smelling myself. Question: would you put the L’homme line as any scent from Bond no 9?
La Nuit is absolutely amazing. It’s so comforting and sexy. It does get good reactions IF it can be detected. I think for me, Layton sort of fills the same vibe but with better performance. I had bottle of the previous formulation let it go with some regret. But I’m trying not to get caught up in the reformation rabbit hole. I just want to end joy a thing for what it is now.
I’m really glad I stumbled upon this review, I’m not into fragrances but I needed some new ones so today I bought Aventis and Irish tweed, by Creed and spent a little over $800, not really sure, after selling them, if it was worth it. My daughter actually told me about this and to check it out on RU-vid. Glad I found your channel, I’ll be grabbing this tomorrow💯
Got my first bottle today. Smells amazing. Such a nice soft fragrance. Everything these days smells like Sauvage or One million which gives me a fkn headache.
Was really hoping to love this scent. Smells like a powdery smarty. Don't know if it's cuz I was nose blind at the mall but still reluctant to pull the trigger
I remember back in 2010 there was a perfume shop i'd pop into that was really trying to push this fragrance. I didn't like it at first and thus, forgot about it. After many years and reviewers hyping La Nuit. I decided to get a 60ml bottle in 2017/18 and since then, it's grown on me and I've bought a back up bottle as It's a very relaxing type of fragrance.
I might check this out soon. I currently wear CK one shock and recently tried out dior homme intense for a week but started to not like it as much. Does La Nuit smell sweet?
When i tried it on in the tester it was somewhat potent. But by the time i bought it i seem to less projecting and strong. Still good but annoying that i don't get the projection and strength
You can compare anything, but these are completely different so it it might not be that helpful. Sauvage is very fresh and in your face, to me it’s too much and it’s too synthetic for me to wear, but it smells great on other, that’s just my own preference. La nuit is more warm and alluring, while also having some fresh aspects
Bought it few weeks ago due to youtubers (including you) having this on their top 10’s all the time. The only dealbreaker I have to this scent is performance. I had to layer so many other products (lotion + vaseline + molecule 01) underneath on top of overspraying in order for it to project well on my skin. In my country’s fragrance community, a lot of them had to give up the scent just for this reason. But I’m willing to make it work. In fact, the 200ml bottle is in my wishlist because it’s just smells so divine!

@@melissanacional9662 oh i will def over spray it when i get it in the mail lol. However, i have somehow suddenly gotten a side effect from a lot of colognes. I get dizzy and sometimes even nauseated and sweat. I think its from the alcohol. It happens real bad with some colognes..so bad i had to sell them. But for others im ok. I dont know if its the alcohol concentration or some other ingredient thats causing it. But ya ill do my best to use as much as i can of this stuff..i hope the longevity and projection is strong and long.

You know in perfumery when they make an EDP or Parfum version, they make it a different smelling fragrance. The concentration doesn’t help the projection. The projection is the result of it’s choice of heart notes.
Its still smells good But in my opinion-if your gonna reformulate something they should call it version b or c etc, etc Can you imagine if coke or pepsi reformulated and did not tell anyone It would be game over
Dude I wear this to work at Tesla, all I hear when I’m walking is “Damn!“ lmao it’s mostly from dudes tho wtf. But I do notice girls get a little closer when I’m standing near or when I’m taking to them, if you love your personal space don’t get it lol.
This a good up close fragrance. Giving woman hugs or even hugging close mates have all responded like “you smell fucking amazing what is that?”. And the ladies get addicted to smelling you lol
