Yellow jacket guy is the owner of windy city limousine here... his normal seat is behind homeplate. Go back to any game before covid and he's there in that jacket. Doesn't matter if it's 110° or 45° that jacket is blinding the pitchers lol. Very friendly and approachable guy. The Nascar driver on that jacket personally gave him and signed that jacket. Yes, i made the mistake of talking to him and he told me his life story haha

I don't know if anyone was warm in the bullpen for a change, but an accident is an accident. End of story. La Russa was out of line and didn't even help his player or go to him. It was an ego move, not a managerial one.

@@seymourglass26 player safety trumps everything else and when pitchers don't have command, they need to adjust accordingly. that's why the new pitching change rule is so bad, pitchers with no command can't be replaced and there are going to be 2 batters who are at risk for no reason.

My big takeaway from this is that Reyes is a really good dude to have in baseball. He checks on the batter first to make sure he's okay and then the pitcher to make sure he's okay in terms of psyche and to tell him that he's not done something horrible to anyone. Just all around a great set of things to do in that situation and a lot of compassion for his fellow players

1:35 - For me, this was a sneak peak into my mortality and ever decreasing athletic prowess. I know we’re all going to get old soon, it’s inevitable. But wholly sh*. TLR is a reminder to try to exercise and move your body daily. To do your best and keep whatever fitness level or range of motion you have left. I cringe at the thought of running like this. He’s 76, so this is actually quite impressive, but damn if I can fend off this diminished athleticism as long as possible.

@Deported addict yea that’s just false I gave up on baseball about 10 years ago and jomboy actually got me back invested into the game, and it’s a lot more entertaining than it used to be, the game is sped up a lot from when I used to watch and there’s a lot of fun young players to watch

Maybe it has been interesting but people like Jomboy and a few other youtubers have worked hard to highlight the personality behind the players and sports in an engaging way that I have not seen before. I'm glad you've loved every second of baseball, I haven't for a long time up until watching videos like these

That and unwanted pregnancy are two things we all know how to easily prevent and yet it still happens all the time. To be completely honest, those who continue to make these mistakes are pretty ignorant.

When a catcher throws down to second to back pick a runner that second basemen has to stop or block that ball from going into the outfield. (Yes the throw was low but still he has to block that ball an stop the runner from advancing to third).
