In this video I do a last minute solo trip on Labor Day 2019 to two of my closest Artificial Reefs. We catch quite a bit of fish, but only 2 keepers. It was super rough and I hadn't slept at all so I didn't stay out very long. Lots of action with no complaints. More videos coming soon. Like, subscribe, and share.

You make it look so easy, as a new fishermen I've been struggling to find my fishing spots, its alot more complicated then I thought it would be.

It’s really not. Look on your charter for ledges and wrecks. Then try them out

Hello- I have a 16' starcraft center console with a 50hp motor and I was hesitant about taking a trip out to the axel carlson reef- this video gave me the confidence to take the voyage, thanks!

Same struggle on the LI south shore all summer. Lots of Fluke, but lots of shorts. Fun action all day regardless. Great vid, keep ‘em coming.

I didn't know Bradley Cooper made fishing videos. I'm up here on the north shore of Long Island. That trolling motor is amazing. I can imagine how it would a game changer for blackfishing. Great videos-keep 'em coming!

Good video of an area my son and I were on the Friday of the labor day weekend. Tons of fish and a few keepers that day, much like your day. Keep the videos coming. PS. They always hit the top jig!

We all suffer the same. No offshore and the tuna are in the Hudson and Toms! Sooo frustrating. This weekend I might go Sunday. Will see. Keep the videos coming.

We’re you on the “reef” area or over one of the “wrecks”? I’ve been out to that reef area and not so fantastic luck. Have drifted across the “reef” zone with little to no luck. Have no trolling motor, so staying above a wreck is difficult. Good for you to get out there despite some wind/rough seas. I was just there yesterday and got one keeper in 4-hours. Stay safe!

Thanks so much for watching. This was on both the GE and AC reefs. Google NJ artificial reefs. They have a detailed list of all the man made structure.

My dad and I are beginning fisherman but it’s so hard to find the right lures and when to use live bait , usually go to island beach state park. Can you help?

That's tough Money. There are so many variables. Honestly my best advice is to find a reputable bait shop near where you are fishing. Stop there every time. Spend money there. Be kind and courteous. Ask what they recommend for that area and time you'll be fishing. A good shop should point you in the right direction.
