It is Tracey, and you have options there too: You can do this route or you can go right up to the tarn, then back over either St Sunday Crag or Helvellyn. Or, if you don’t fancy hills, there’s a footpath on the other side of the valley, so you could go up one side and down the other.
I am Dave. I film on my iPhone and sometimes find the results a bit flat. It even differs between the front and rear cameras. However, I had awful trouble getting this one to render and when I eventually watched it back the colour grading had been applied TWICE to some of the clips, sending the results a bit OTT! I was that fed up with it though I couldn’t be a@$%d doing it all again. Shame, as it rather spoiled the end result.
Looks like a good walk Tony, thanks for sharing. I think we'll try this when we're in Grizedale later this year, but do the longer route to include St Sunday, then back down the valley. And yeah, the colours are a bit technicolour on steroids, but the vid is none the worse for that! ATB
