Lal Amaranth Aloo Sabzi I Amaranth Leaves Saag Recipe | Aloo-Lal Chaulai ki Sabji Banane ki Vidhi
Ingredients :
1 big bunch of chopped Red Amaranth (Lal Math)
1 tbs Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Pinch of Asafoetida Powder (Hing)
4 finely chopped Garlic Cloves
1 finely chopped small Ginger Knob
1 medium finely chopped Onion
Salt as per taste
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
Potato, cut into small dices
2 tsp Coriander Powder (Dhaniya Powder)
Red Chilli Powder (as per taste)
2 spoon Water
Method :
Heat 1 tbs Oil in a pan
Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Add a pinch of Asafoetida Powder (Hing)
Add 4 finely chopped Garlic Cloves
Add 1 finely chopped small Ginger Knob
Let the Garlic be light golden-brown
Add 1 medium finely chopped Onion
Add Salt as per taste
Add 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
Saute and add Potato, cut into small dices
Cover and let it partially cook
Add 2 tsp Coriander Powder (Dhaniya Powder)
Add Red Chilli Powder (as per taste)
Add chopped Amaranth Leaves and gently mix it
Drizzle a little Water
Cover the lid and let it nicely cook
Turn off the heat and sabji on a serving plate
