I don't even own a LandCruiser but I have watched all your videos. I like how you go straight to it. No bullshit. Keep it up mate 👍🏻

If you have trouble with the caster angle, there are offset king pin sets to get your wheels on the right castor again. If you ever experience the DEATH wobble you will know what I am on about, if you survive. It will literally bounce you off the road.

One tip cut the old bearing race like 5mm and use it to push the new race never get stucked 👍

I put same advice on his first video. I just use the thin 1mm disc, it acts like a spring and just pops out, no need to hit new race at all. And use it for the seal too.

Some tips n tricks ive learnt bro -When hitting out cone washers leave the nuts on the end of the threads to prevent them pinging off and flying into a different dimension -when hitting in races use a grinder to cut thru one part of the old race it makes it much easier to remove after uve hit the new ones in if it gets stuck 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Great video mate, I use a piece of wood, the old race (tool) or at least a small brass hammer when fitting seals, they are flimsy and easy to damage. And grease is your friend, use plenty. Its a pain the arse but I re tighten bearings at 1000k. I notice you use ordinary grease on the barfield joint (CV). My kit came with lithium grease. I dont know about the 45s, but the 75s have a filler hole plugged with a square drive threaded plug.

Have done this same job on my 80 series 3 times and spot on that retighten the bearing at 1000km needs to be done. Am about to do this on my son in-laws 75 series work Ute after his mechanic quoted him $4-5000 for hub rebuild and tie rods. I'm pretty sure after do new tie rods its just a simple bearing pack and re tighten them and all parts and grease/ fluids plus diff and transfer with new plugs well under $1,000 even if have to buy a hub rebuild kit its just a few hours work and most of that is cleaning. I was so disgusted with his mechanics quote that I'm gonna teach him how to do it himself for under a grand. $500 to do steering stabiliser supply n fitted wtf, 4 tie rods supplied and fitted $1400, Diff and transfer oil change $600, both sides front swivel hub rebuild kit supplied n fitted $2500 ( told him it cost so much because he has a locker in the diff)

And another cheapskate tip. To measure the preload on the kingpin bearings and wheel bearings, get a small fish scale from BCF. Does the same job and a fraction of the price as a SST from toyota or supercheap.
