Hi lovely vent lady🌹yet another interesting video,until you get a trach & being on a ventilator you don't know how hard it is to speak,you have to work with the machine,when I was 20 the ventilators were big & bulky,in fact some people were still using an iron lung due to polio! I get flashbacks of not moving,my neck was in a brace & machine breathing for me,and just looking at 4 walls & a ceiling! When I am out & wearing my KAFO leg brace,mostly I leave the knee locked,but you get young children asking usually their mother what is on that man's leg & why does he walk with a stiff leg,usually the mums tell the child to be quiet or just say I have a poorly leg! I would rather they ask why I wear the brace! It must be like when your out & children,even adults stare at the tubing coming from your neck & wonder what it does! As I said many times you always have a smile a mile wide,just when things look bad for you god finds a way like he did getting you the operation to remove the cyst! It lovely you have so many subscribers all over the world! I don't think you realise how much help your video's can be! I thought I had found your video's by accident as I was not looking for people with trachs etc,just deaf people & those with full time catheters like me,but God had his reasons,it was to jog my memory of being on life support after an accident which left me with gaps in my long term memory! And watching each new video makes me remember a few more things! Waking up from an induced coma is hard at any age,but to have this thing in my throat & a machine breathing for me was a shock which I must have blanked out all these years! Because toddlers cry and annoy everyone, can't we just laryngectomize them all? It's just like surgically debarking a dog.
