I felt bad for Tom when I saw the part where everyone was wishing his character a happy birthday on Twitter, because I really like both versions of him, despite them not being affiliated with each other in any way, but I’d still put respect to Tom’s name by at least crediting him, and tagging him. I didn't have the guts to tell the youths off at my movie theatre when I was watching Spider-Verse, but luckily they settled down after 10 minutes. I'm sure the other movie goers were silently thanking you for your sacrifice 😁

around 22min when you talk about bonding over quoting your work with friends, i just had the biggest smile. I met my best friend almost 10 years ago and the first 10 minutes we spent together i did an asdf movie reference and saw her eyes fuckin light up and ended the quote. she is an absolute treasure and i'm so happy i've met her. We are still, to this day, very big TomSka fans =)

No one should have kids on a whim. Too many people do it without knowing anything about kids or how to talk to them/take care of them/raise them. Before being allowed to have kids, people should be required to do some test of empathy/communcation, courses in developmental psychology and therapy so that they do not transfer all their shit onto their kids.

i've said it before and i'll say it again the best, and some of the only things worth seeing in the british museum are the sutton hoo collection. i was lucky enough to go recently and it was the highlight of the london trip. absolutely stunning saxon artifacts. the gold and garnet jewelry is beautiful. you'd probably recognise it from the helmet. there was an amazing netflix movie called The Dig about how the excavation happened right before WW2. and best thing about the stuff is it's all actually ours! so i avoided most of the museum for minimum guilt

For your gelatin dessert there if you are going to add in other things like fruit bits, use less cool water than the package directs you to. It will set thicker and the extra moisture from the fruit won't cause it to go all gloopy. One thing you can do for the fun of it is take a tin of fruit cocktail and make up enough jell-o to cover the contents when drained, let it set up in the can over night and enjoy a fruity aspic the next day.

When I was still in high school, right before covid (I think this was the last lunch period actually) my speech and debate coach (who let us eat lunch in his classroom) turned off the lights and put an ASDFmovie comp on and I can't remember feeling true happiness since then 😂 a room of 30 some kids quoting it together. Fun fact. There is a law that forbids mueseums in the UK from giving back stolen stuff. Only under circumstances like if that thing is broken are they allowed to return the stolen stuff.
