It really depends on the rH of my room. Since making this video, I always apply a proper casing layer, and that has cut back on the tubs drying out a lot, and increased my yield significantly :) Also completely got rid of sidepins.

Just curious on why you don't use liners or black out the bottom of your bins?

Two reasons: 1) I only use liners in mono tubs for ease of harvest, not necessarily for side pins. With shoeboxes, they’re easy to harvest so I don’t use liners. 2) most of the species I’m growing here won’t even have side pins as they generally will only grow where there is a casing layer.

I noticed you have a lid flipped in this video but in your dub tub video you stated it's not needed. Are you still a firm believer of not flipping the lid still?

Good question, I only flip the lid for poo lovers and grasslovers. Coir lovers (what was shown in the video you speak of) I do not flip the lid.
