Lauren has increased her ROM and strength following her lateral ankle sprain and now is advancing the exercises to help her return to running after the injury. It's important that we are strengthening her lateral ankle ligaments and peroneal tendons with stability and loading exercises, and then carefully get her running with short distances to start with.
She also needs to keep increasing her ankle dorsiflexion ROM to at least 10% of the other side.
