God bless you Dr. Williams... I literally just tried the first 3 you demonstrated and already my burning and needle pain has diminished to an acceptable level... Thank you so much!!! As a home care nurse I sit a lot and the pain gets super bad 8 out of 10, but at least now I have a way to relieve the pain thanks to you.
Wow! I'm really glad to hear that you got some relief from them right away. Sometimes we sacrifice our body caring for others, and it's important to remember that one has to take care of their own body to keep helping others! Keep up with them and read some of my posts in the description about other things you can do for meralgia paresthetica relief. Best of luck and thanks for the kind comments!
I found a way to get rid of Meralgia paresthetica, I am currently taking 20mg of Nortriptyline every day and I no longer have any pain or sign or symptom of neuropathy.
OMG - last night I had my first good nights' sleep in 18 days! Longer even, since menopause has rendered an 8 hr sleep impossible for the past 20 years. THANK YOU. The ER told me I had sciatica but this is the right diagnosis! and the exercises and guidance are a godsend!
Thank you so much! My nerve was pinched due to wearing a waist trainer and after the stretching, the next day my bottom was no longer numb. The next day my thigh and leg began to fade and as of today (the third day), I no longer feel the numbing sensation.
Wow! I'm really glad to hear that you're feeling better. It's amazing what therapeutic exercises can do to help with so many neuromusculoskeletal issues! Best of luck going forward and thanks for checking out our channel!
2:24 tysm ❤️it just got away in a second 😭this is a miracle for me ..otherwise i face thigh pain throughout the night due to which i cry sometimes ..the pain is extremely unbearable..n i used to face it alternatively throughout the month
Dr William. .I suffered immensed pain at times n discomfort for 5 months!.Glad I found our video. .within 10 mins I m feeling on the top of the world.Thousand thks n may God bless u for your generosity n kindness to help us..
Thank you for this!! I’ve known for years that I had sensitivity and numbness around this area but today I had the worst burning of my life in my thigh because of compression. This video is a lifesaver
Yep parasthetica sucks…welcome to my world…and I’m a smaller guy too I’m not even sure how it started but I have back injuries so probably came from that somehow but I’m having bad sciatica and parasthetica at the same time
@@user-wb2yv7ll9d yes! It’s because of these nerve exercises, a massage gun, and learning to switch sleeping positions. It was awful and difficult to experience, but you’ll get through this!
I’m 24 and have been dealing with this in my right thigh for 1 year or so when trying to sleep on my back or stomach, which has really been a struggle because I hate sleeping on my side. I usually lay on my side until I feel tired enough to lay on my back and pass out before my thigh gets discomfort. Thank you for this I hope this helps me, you’re a blessing and bless you as well!
I'm sorry that you've been struggling with that. Really hope these exercises are helpful for you. I always suggest seeing a rehab-focused chiropractor as well since they can examine and diagnose these conditions. There are many other treatments besides a home exercise program that can be helpful.
@@JasonWilliamsDC-Chiro-Rehab I’m not sure if i’ve just had good nights but since starting these exercises my numbness has been minimal if not nonexistent!
@@aaroncraft7030 Love to hear that. I put content out to educate others on what's going on with their bodies and that there are solutions to so many painful MSK conditions. Hope you continue to feel better!
@@JasonWilliamsDC-Chiro-Rehab I have that nerve pain in the front of my thigh and the pain feels like is coming from inside. It's so bad I can't stand or sit much less walk. It's so bad I have to keep lying down. The whole thing keeps bringing me to tears because I can't get help from doctors. I've tried these exercises but it just seems to get worse. Please tell what is happening to me.
@@freelands8355 Sorry, I can't give you any specific advise since you're not a patient. Sometimes it just takes finding the right provider who will really dig in and figure out what's going on. I wish you the best of luck and am sorry to hear you're struggling. Keep your head up and.
Been fighting chronic pain for many years. Was a laborer, did jack hammering and dig-ups. They put me on light duty doing traffic control for another few years. Came to the point I could barely stand. Specialist said Fibromytosis. Just want the fire to go away in my body. On 450mg Lyrica, 3000mg Tylenol and 1000mg Ibuprofen each day. Doc took me off Gabapentin. I will try your stretches since my body has been stiff the past few years. Maybe help the legs and back.
The Tri-Planer stretch is awesome. My symptoms have been going on for years. I’ve never worried about it because it comes and goes. This latest attack is worse than it’s ever been. So I started looking online for answers and ran across Meralgia Paraesthetica. I’ll talk to my doctor about it, at my next appointment. I have pain that radiates from my lower back, down to my side, then into my outer thigh. All on the left side. It usually starts with an itching, or I guess, tingling sensation under the skin on my outer thigh. When I scratch the area, it feels weird. Then it starts to hurt and is really sensitive to the touch. I have numbness (started as a teenager and never got full feeling back), tingling, burning, and intermittent needle like pains. My lower back is also on fire. I’m a side sleeper. My lower back, lately, has been hurting. To the point where it wakes me up in the middle of the night, and it hurts to even roll over. It burns something awful. I’m thinking it’s from sitting too long. I’m not obese, I don’t have diabetes, I’ve not been injured, and I don’t wear tight clothes. I’m wondering if Icy Hot might help?
Icy hot or menthol topicals can help with the pain and provide temporary relief in my experience. I always suggest seeing a rehab focused chiropractor who's familiar with this condition and get to the root cause. Many medical doctors will prescribe PT but it's important in my opinion to have a PT that does manipulation because that can provide a lot of relief or see a chiropractor since they use manipulation effectively the majority of their day. Best of luck, thanks for sharing your experience!
How are you feeling now? I tend to get this pain when sitting a little too long like on a long flight. It goes away but now it’s back and I’ve been sitting in recliner for a few days recovering from illness. I too wonder if sitting in one position can cause this.
@@jasonstone5022 I do sit a lot. Im retired so I’ve gotten lazy. Lol… My PC doctor has put me on Gabapentin because the pain is so bad. He says neuropathy. He hasn’t said anything about physical therapy. I’ve been really thinking about seeing a chiropractor. Haven’t made up my mind on that yet. I’ve never been to one. We’ll see. I’ll let you know if I do and how it goes.
Hi Jason, I am glad I found your video. I have been having pain that feels like sciatica pain for months but MRI showed no compressed nerves. The pain was typically on right side but it moved to the left and I have been having pain in left buttocks and hips. 2 days ago, I started to feel numbness on my left thigh and the central lower back has pain as well. Been taking gabapentin but doesn't help at all. I will be trying out your exercises. Thank you so much.
I hope you're able to find some relief with them! In my experience GP will help a lot of folks with nerve pain but it's typically beneficial to rehab the injury as well. It sounds like the pain has moved around on you quite a bit, which makes it tricky. I understand that it can feel like you're hunting for the cause and the fix often - just know that it can be figured out and most people will make a really great recovery!
I have been experiencing this problem and yesterday was the most painful. I am so thankful to God that I have found your video and I tried your tri-planar psoas active stretch and I immediately felt relieved. I hope and pray that I will be free from pain soon as I keep on doing these exercises. 🙏
Wow! That's wonderful that it seemed to help you. I really hope your recovery continues and you're able to be pain-free and stay pain-free! Thanks for watching!
@@nandankumar4910 i instantly felt relieved soon after finishing the stretching. so,i kept doing it every morning to prevent the pain from coming back. but now, i only do it once in a while. and i also no longer use belt to keep my waist free from tightness.
I am literally in tears. 3 weeks ago, I was in in the hospital with an appendicitis. At the time, I didn't know I had covid. 3 days after surgery, as if some one turned on a switch, the extreme pain, burning, shocks and numbness, to both thighs down to my knees. Even the slightest touch can produce extreme pain. I will let you know of the results.
@@JasonWilliamsDC-Chiro-Rehab I tried the exercises and the pain became much worse. I am to receive back injections at L4-L2 soon due to pinched nerves.
I have heard of it happening after surgery and I know that sometimes things pop up post-surgery that weren't there before. It happens, but I hope you can overcome it. Best of luck and stay positive!
Oh my! I can’t say how much this has helped. Please though could you tell me why when I do this I then have a flare up of the groin? And down inside I seem to have nerves trapped there. Can you advise - you are the only one that has helped me with this in years!
Wish I could but since you're not a patient I can't give you any medical advice. Try finding a chiropractor or PT who's familiar with meralgia paresthetica and see if they can guide you to recovery!
You’re amazing! I will do these exercises immediately. At the end of a long day my leg burns so bad I have to stop what I’m doing. Gabapentin seems to help at night but if I can repair/relieve this nerve drug free I’m all in. Thanks Doc 😃 p.s there’s a foam roller in description section of this video but I didn’t see you use one. Also, the Massage tool page is not available.
Gabapentin can help with nerve pain, but unfortunately, it doesn't solve the issue (wish it did!) Thanks for the heads up on the links, I'll change them! Best of luck in your recovery, I hope these exercises help!
I just found this video and I hope it will help- Had tingling and numbness for about 2 weeks now in my thigh, so I am really upset about it and hope it goes away with these exercises. Thanks for posting!
Thank you! I had double mastectomy repair surgery 5 weeks ago, and it seems this happens after surgery for some reason. I’m looking forward to trying some of these to help the pain in my leg. It’s always the right leg for some reason.
Was just diagnosed with this. Initially I had feared that this searing pain in my leg was related to some spine issue. I am sort of relieved that it isn’t but that pain really is starting to get to me. And I don’t want to eat painkillers like candy. That said, standing for more than a few minutes is pure torture at the moment. Sitting and walking are both totally fine though. I will try these exercises out right now.
I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with those types of symptoms. I wish you the best of luck in your recovery. You can check out the blogs in the video description where I've written pretty extensively about meralgia paresthetica and treatment options. Hope you feel better soon!
Thank you for providing these helpful exercises. They do help. I was wondering if it's safe to use compression stocking, knee- hi or socks when you have meralgia paresthethica. Thank you
Hey Jason i went to see neurologist and diagnosed with MP my symptoms is pain on my pelvic, hips, thighs, groin, testicle and lower pain I don't know if I have pinch nerve and compressed nerve I try your exercises it does help little I hope that good sign
Glad to hear it. I'm a huge proponent of rehab and manual therapy for these types of symptoms. Outcomes are mostly really good for folks when seeing a chiro or PT who can get in the affected areas and restore movement, help with stabilization, and educate the patient on what's really going on. I really hope you're able to find some relief and get back to feeling yourself again. Thanks for watching!
Although ive not been officially diagnosed, I feel I have this condition in both my legs. When I have the thigh area massaged, I have a great sense of releaf and get a warm feeling that travels down my leg. Ive had this problem for well over 10 years and like others ive had all the tests you can think of but no underlying cause could be found. The pain did disapear for about a year but then in the last few weeks its come back again for no reason. Ive had to start taking pain relief again which I really wish I didn't have to. As I sit typing my buttocks ache as well. I'll try some of your excersises to see if they help, if not I may have to go back to the doctors.
I hope you find the exercises helpful. It never hurts to get another opinion and sometimes it's a journey until you find the right provider and right treatment, unfortunately. Best of luck!
Thank you brother for this! I will start doing these exercises immediately. Is it normal for the burning sensation to travel to the butt and groin area ? It started with upper thighs a couple weeks back and it’s jumping all over… Do you recommend I seek medical attention? Please and thank you. 😢
MP usually isn't going to create sensation complaints in the glutes because the LFCN doesn't provide afferent sensation information fromthat area. I would be suspicious of other diagnosis if I saw that presentation in my office. Thanks for watching!
Hi. I just woke up yesterday with this condition. The most horrendous burning pain in my thigh. After searching, it fits MP. I’m thankful to find this video and about to try the exercises. How many times a day should I do them and how many stretches in one exercise? Thanks so much!
I'm sorry to hear that. It really varies from person to person, I typically try and get my patients to do them daily and do at least 10 repetitions, but like I said, I do vary my exercise prescriptions quite a bit. If you're still struggling after a while a great rehab or sports chiropractor can be a valuable resource. Well wishes in your recovery :)
@@JasonWilliamsDC-Chiro-Rehab thank you! I started out with 5 each and worked my way up to 10. Sometimes I can only do 5 though because I start getting like a Charlie horse in my thigh. I’ve noticed as long as I do the exercise, I’m ok but if I stop, I wake up with that burning pain after a few days.
Thank you SO much for these exercises! I have been doing them a couple of days, and it feels good. I am wondering if I can do all of them several times a day and holding the stretch in the tri-planar psoas exercise longer? I haven't got MP but I have suffered from tingling and burning thighs in periods for years now.
Really glad to hear the positive comments! I've never had someone "overdo" the exercises, but usually tell my patients to listen to their body and make sure discomfort isn't increased over 3 points on a 0-10 scale when doing them. The tri-planar psoas exercise sometimes feels more relieving when held, but also working the antagonist muscles (hip extensors) can help patients overcome the imbalance. Best of luck!
Thank you for your content. My numbness is not in my hip. It's my MID LOWER THIGH to my SIDE FRONT KNEE on my left leg. It's been numb for 6 years now. Pain is started this year. Never had pain before til now.
I'm really sorry to hear that, I hope you're able to get some relief! Make sure you find a great rehab-focused chiropractor, PT, or MD who can help guide you!
Thank you!!!my outer thigh went numb after a strenuous workout. I had been off laying around for about 2 weeks due to covid and then this numbness started during my workout. It is a very strange feeling. I guess overdid it, ugh. I hope this helps it feel alive again. First-time experiencing this.
Really sorry to hear you're going through that! COVID will throw some uncertainty into things with everybody. Laying/sitting around is often the worst thing for this condition. Hope you recover soon!
I've had numbness in my left outer thigh for about 20 years. A few years ago I started to get it in my right outer thigh. I'm lucky to have no burning or pain, just numbness. But I'm gonna try this and see if it works.
is there a time limit to resolve this issue? If someone doesn't do much to make it better for like8 months and then looks into ways to resolve it, is it too late?
Not necessarily. It may take longer to overcome and more challenging to relieve it after a lot of time has passed with no changes or treatment, but It's not a lost cause. There are many small changes and treatment options you can try and chances are they will be helpful and hopefully resolve the issue. Thanks for watching!
Hi there, I think I'm having Meralgia Paresthetica in my left side of the upper thigh. It has been there from 2013. It is a constant mild, tingling sensation as if there something is slowly moving inside. I've almost learned to live it it, but sometimes it's very irritating and frustrating. I've been to many doctors but they couldn't catch what it actually was (or may be I couldn't explain it properly). Now after watching this and couple of other videos I think it is Meralgia Paresthetica.
i lay on my side at night, and lately within the first few minutes i feel a sensation on that side in my hip area like something is crawling or moving around. it's so weird, and the sensation makes me snap right out of almost falling asleep & creeps me out... i have to touch it just to make sure there's nothing actually crawling on me. this is in addition to a burning sensation I've had in the same area on several occasions.
I really hope it's helpful for you, I know MP can be frustrating. If you need some further help I always recommend to folks to find a good evidence-based and rehab focused chiropractor as well! Best of luck and thanks for checking out our channel!
This just might be the thing I need to sort myself out. I've had gradually increasing symptoms over the last 4 months or so, some days I can barely walk, stumbling a lot, a feeling of tingling and then pain in the hip, groin, and butt. I've tried exercises for piriformis, hip impingement, sciatica, as I've had symptoms of those things too, some clicking and popping, etc. Is it possible that the femoral nerve issue could be the root cause of trouble in these other areas? I'm very stubborn so I've continued to hike and be active and I feel like my biomechanics have altered causing the domino of issues. Thanks for your video, these exercises are new, going to try them now! 🤞
I really hope they help you! It can be really helpful to go see a great rehab-focused chiropractor who can nail down the diagnosis and what biomechanical factors are leading to the issue. Femoral nerve involvement is typically going to cause anterior thigh symptoms. I wish you the best of luck and thanks for watching!
The outside of my left thigh went numb about 12 years ago, didn't think much of it, figured I had a pinched nerve...but the feeling never really came back. Last Monday I woke up, terrified, to INCREDIBLY INTENSE burning. I jumped out of bed to get away from the 5 lb hornet or spider that had dug their stingers in the center of my thigh. I went straight to the floor, couldn't walk...I was screaming the fire sensation was so intense. Of course there was nothing actually stinging me, but it was really intense for 3-4 minutes. Scared the sh*t outta me. Happened again last night....on my way to buy a couple of new pillows!
Sorry to hear that! Hoping you're able to find some relief for it, I know meralgia paresthetica can create pain that's really difficult to deal with. Best of luck and thanks for watching!
It really depends on the case, it may or may not in my opinion. I'd have to see how the patient is moving during an exam and get their subjective experience to make a call on that one.
Just watched this looking for answers as I get woken in the night by this pain. I believe it is because I have worn a tool belt on that side for over twenty years. I have just invested in an over shoulder support for the belt so can wear it loosely. Seems to help a bit during the day but at nighttime I get woken up by the pain and numbness in the early morning. I will try these exercises. Do I need to have one of those massage machines?
Yeah, I think that's likely in some cases too. With the ligament not having contractile properties, the true cause is likely in the biomechanics of the surrounds joints or muscles that is putting the inguinal ligament in that position to create impingement/irritation.
This was working for me, but the looking up/down has now set off the arthritis in my neck - is there another exercise I can try instead, please? Thanks
I would usually have my patient avoid the neck movement if that was the case and still do the rest of the movement but for specific advice in your case it's better reach out to chiropractor who can take a look at your specific case. Best of luck and thanks for checking out the video!
Hey brother, I’ve seen many doctors for my case, neuro surgeon, vascular surgeon, ortho, Chiro, PTs and done a lot of tests, MRI, Xray and lately EMG for my legs!! No one is really sure of what happening there!! The neuro who did the EMG said it’s definitely M.P; I have feelings of burning and numbness and prickling all day since 3-4 months!!! This is very frustrating!! I am having PT sessions shall I continue and which exercises would you recommend?? Thanks mate!!
I'm sorry I can't give you specific advice since you're not a patient of mine. I will say that not every MD, chiro, PT are created the same and sometimes a different approach from a different provider can be the thing that gets a patient over the problem. The longer they go on the more difficult they can be to relieve. Best of luck and thanks for checking out our channel!
Thanks for checking out our channel and hopefully it's helpful! It's different for everyone as far as the time frame to recover. Home exercises like these are helpful but some manual therapy from a chiro or PT may help speed up the recovery process as well. Best of luck in your recovery!
Could you do a video on what to do if you are too tight to lift your leg back. I go to chiro twice a week and can not lift right leg off table at all till I've been adjusted and then only slightly with great effort. Trying to do stretch but can barely lift leg off surface.
I haven't been able to lift my right leg (standing, sitting or lying down, since a car accident. Neurologists are no help. They tell me nothing is wrong. I can Floss the femoral nerve lying on my back. What else could I try to regain strength? I'm dependent on a walker bcz I cannot lift my leg to take a step. Flossing almost eliminated the back pain. I see my chiropractor regularly. My leg fails his muscle tests all the time.
Currently I am on crutches and have an Acl partial tear and both lateral and medial meniscus on left leg, I haven't done surgery yet. But the burning is in my right thigh above knee cap, all the way up to my glutes, to back
Hi Sir. This is wonderful. Do you have any suggestions for pudendal nerve entrapment or a floss and or excercises? Please! Its been three years since i fell on my bottom and i haven't had much relief 😞
I don't have any suggestions for you, but a pelvic floor specialist may be able to help with that. That's where I would send one of my patients if they had that issue. Best of luck recovering!
Question? How many times and how often should I do these exercises? Thank you, VERY much for this group of videos on this subject. BTW, on a technical note, I like the music you chose. ☮
For my patients I usually have them do a superset in sets of 10 until they reach about 15-20 minutes at least once a day. I cannot give you specific advice though since you're not a patient of mine.
It's always advisable to get an expert opinion and someone to help guide a patient through the rehab process and provide manual treatments that may help as needed!
@@waheedobaidi7341 It doesn't really matter, as long as they're reputable they should have similar skills. Chiro will do more manipulation and manual therapy, PT will do more supervised exercise (as a general rule).
Any of them are good quality and effective at giving some short-term relief in many people, the femoral nerve is made up from nerve roots of the upper lumbar spine so treating that area with the Hypervolt may help some people, but I can't say in your specific case.
Love your channel and these exercises look fairly easy to do... I really hope they help me out cause I'm getting desperate! What would be the optimal number of times to do these to get the quickest results -- I'm thinking 10 repetitions of each exercise once an hour. Would that be too much?
Wow, thanks for the kind words! I try to put out content that is educating and helpful. I can't give you specific advise but I typically try and get my patients doing 10 reps of each exercise 1-2 times a day, or sometimes just tell them to go until fatigue and to make sure it's not significantly increasing their discomfort. I truly wish you well in your recovery!
Hi thanks for this, it's really interesting and useful. I have been using some of these techniques for a while now as I have been diagnosed with Meralgia Parasthetica (MP). I am also starting to get tingling in the upper/central back below the shoulder blade area and bad foot pain on the same side as the MP, do you think this could be related? I don't know who to get help from, a physio or a chiropractor...any advice please re the other pain and who to consult?
Glad it has been helpful! I know MP can be really difficult to live with. It's hard for me to tell if your other complaints are related since you're not my patient and I haven't examined you. I always direct people to www.forwardthinkingchiro.com to find a good chiropractor to see who can diagnose, take imaging (if necessary), treat with manual therapy, and get you started on a rehab exercise program (if necessary.) There can be a lot of inconsistency between PTs and chiros, so going through this website or a referral is the best way to find a provider who can help!
I typically try to get my patients doing these exercises daily until they feel a good stretch or fatigue. If not every day I'll shoot for 5x/week, it really depends case to case. They're certainly not the end all be all for this condition but a good place to start for a lot of my patients.
great video, i have herniated disc l5-s1 since 4 yrs almost, i am currently got more tied muscles in behind my knee and right buttock so is these exercise would help my case?
Meralgia paresthetica is a condition where the sensory nerve is trapped peripherally, but functional back limitations and issues can contribute to that. Lower lumbar issues typically produce posterior and lateral leg pain so these exercises aren't really designed to help with that. Thanks for watching and for the kind words! I have a sciatic nerve flossing exercise that may be worth checking out.
Thank you for the video! Are there any sitting exercises that I can do while I am at my work to deal with this pain? Is there any sitting posture that can alleviate the pain?
Sitting is going to aggravate this complaint many times. The one suggestion I make to patients is to make sure they aren't wearing tight-waisted pants, not wearing a tight belt, and not pulling things in their pocket on the side of the pain.
I just had an anterior hip replacement and my whole outside thigh feels like fire ants. I thought it was just part of the healing process but I can’t touch that area, much less ice and my post surgical excersises hurt to do. Should I tell my surgeon now or when I see him at my month appt?? I’m scared to death. Thank you🙏!!!!
Just recently maybe a month when I sleep on my back my right upper thigh will wake me up with a feeling of fire on it and if I move it it will shoot out around the area in like a cramping feeling and if I lay on my side it won’t do it as bad but through out the day I get little sharp pains in the same affected area. Is this caused by Meralgia paresthetica
It certainly could be, but it could also be caused by the femoral nerve or another issue. It's hard for me to say without doing my own exam. I always recommend finding a great chiropractor who will do a comprehensive exam and give you a plan to overcome it. I truly wish you the best in getting over it.
Hey your help much appreciated. I have very tight QL and I also feel like a pinch nerve same site(left) like electrified feelings L4 or L5. Like a pinched nerve and I feel pain on my glute medius as well. Can I ask if you know what is is?
Sorry to hear you're struggling with those. It may be radiculopathy which is something that usually responds well to the treatments that chiropractors provide and therapeutic exercises. I hope you get feeling better, keep trying, most of these cases will improve with the right strategies and care.
Wow, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing it. Sometimes folks get written off when they have severe chronic pain as being someone who's pain is in their head and can't be fixed. I hope you are able to find some relief and I truly wish you the best on overcoming what's causing your pain.

I have always used the HyperVolt from HyperIce. You can tell they're well made, I've never had an issue with them with years of use, and from what I've heard they will replace the units if they malfunction/have an issue.
I typically have my patients do a superset of all the exercises starting maybe with 10 reps/each and repeating the whole plan for 15-20 minutes at least 1x/day. Quality is more important than quantity with rehab exercise.
With any LFCN symptoms these exercises have the potential to help. Unfortunately there's no way to go back and restore the nerve to it's pre-injury level but nerves can heal, regenerative, and recover so doing some targeting rehab may be something to support that process.
I think mine started when I was hanging down in a rectangle manhole at work holding myself with just my hips and free hanging my body downward to pull wire through some conduit and that was months ago and it just keeps getting worse feels like fire every day
I'm really sorry to hear you've been dealing with it for a while. Hope these exercises bring you some relief and you can get on the way to feeling better ASAP. Thanks for checking out our channel!
Are these exercises safe to do if you have lower back pain? I don't think it's sciatica but I can't sit without pain. I'm treating it just with walking, attention to posture. I had the MP pain several weeks with no back pain. Thank you
In general, most movement is safe with back pain, but there are cases when it's not. I can't comment on your case specifically. Back pain has a lot of causes, and most of the time we're unsure what's causing the pain but we have plenty of treatments in physical medicine that can help. I always suggest seeing a chiropractor and getting a comprehensive exam to figure out the best strategy for overcoming whatever is bothering you. Thanks for watching our channel!
I have this burning sensation/numbness on my right thigh and it has made my knee flare up every day - behind the knee is particularly a problem. I don’t have back pain - just a bit of stiffness, but the real issue seems to be my outer thigh through the knee…..it isn’t constant pain but it flares up about five or six times during the day - any ideas?
