Slight correction on timeline for RTPCR, just needs to be dated prior day of flight date. In reality can be more than 24 hours old. USA kept it simple, just do the test previous day. Example - your flight could be on December 15th at 11:59 PM, you can do the RT-PCR Test any time on the 14th, Example : 12:01 AM, as long as report is dated prior day of flight date. I am a citizen of USA ….will fly out of Hyderabad India on 14th December by Qatar airlines.. My question is does Ragiv Gandhi International airport provide RT -PCR test ?!?
Hi Suja . I am an us citizen. We r going to India in January and coming back in Feb. I m traveling along my 1 year daughter. I work for hospital. Can they ban flight to USA while coming back if situation get worse in Feb. The reason I m asking as I have tickets but I donr want to get stuck in India as if I don't resume my work on time . I can lose my job.so don't know if I should go to India. I have oci and my passport expires in April 2022. Please reply. Thanks
Does it have to be only RT-PCR test . Is Rapid Antigen test also valid while travelling from India to USA. The CDC site mentions multiple test. RT- PCR test takes atleast 24 hours to get the results. Rapid Antigen results are provided in 15 minutes.Please share some information.
