Great video John. I made a few special T nuts for my faceplate which spread the clamping load on the back of the faceplate casting slots.

Thanks, John, I used to love setting up work on the face plate for some reason. Just to bore a hole out that would only take 5 minutes and 1 hour to set up sometimes. lol

Hi John, Thank you for making these videos. Interesting stuff as always. Im yet to use a face plate. My face plate is still a blank plate (no mounting holes) What would be the best layout for the plate? Radial holes, increasing in number as i go out or a grid style? Also Holes or slots? Seen both designs but whats the most useful and safest in your opinion. Really want to keep my plate nice and good. Not holes when and wherever needed. Regards, Paul
