On 2 May 2024, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Université libre de Bruxelles awarded the Difference Day Honorary Title for Freedom of Expression to the Polish filmmaker Agnieszka Holland. In her laudatio, PACT curator Alicja Gescinska lists the reasons for this recognition.
