i mean being born on and raised on a farm where you see farm animals being born and probably have to kill and butcher them yourself, concept of life and death becomes part of the daily grind. you have to develop an indifference somewhat or it will make you go crazy.
@@JeremyCayaban I think it has more to do with her psychic abilities and the fact that she has to, ironically, kind of be a psychopath to keep her sanity. Since she can naturally hear almost everyone’s thoughts she has to detach herself from most people or risk being overwhelmed, which makes it easy to be a cold-blooded killer when she needs to be.
Imogen: hits a guy with her most powerful lightning strike (actual lightning being about 300 million volts) Also Imogen: “I didn’t mean to kill him!” 🤔 Somehow more frightening than Laudna, and that is not something I saw coming. Edit: to correct the spelling of lightning, because I do care 😉
@@MostLikelyMortal Whatever that gnarlrock did... it definitely flipped a switch in Imogen's mind. She suddenly became more ruthless in combat. Almost as if she enjoys causing suffering, and she tries to deny it. Even without it, the change is already set in...
Reminder: Lightning Bolt is basically Fireball, but in a line. If you think I'm wrong, literally the same damage output as Fireball but its lightning damage instead of fire damage of which its 8d6. So yeah, you can probably fucking see how Imogen is basically the Emperor Palpatine of the party.
