“Busy Streets of Leyndell, the golden capital, golden it wasn’t. Filled with the dead and dying- those unaware their dreams were just rubble in the trash heap.” 😂
💀 this channel either produces some of the most well informed and thought out elden ring lore explanations or absolute fever dream videos where nothing coherent is said
I have no idea if you've ever watched or heard of Jerma985 on twitch, but during his Malenia fight he did a noir detective bit! 🤣 I highly recommend watching it, he made me cry laughing the first time I saw it
You could have a field day with this idea being fed into ChatGPT tbh. Also, I find the idea of a chainsmoking Noir Detective Quelaag with like, a cigarette in her mouth, a cigarette in each hand, and then her shoes propped up on the table with special cigarette holders attached to each toe holding a lit one "in" each foot, just hilarious.
Quelaag, I had an interesting theory about Miquella and Mohg I was thinking about for the last few days and wanted to share. So, this theory is based on a couple of item descriptions as well as the nature of Omens. To start, we know that Miquella has a certain affinity for making others love him via the bewitching branch. Secondly, We know omens are closely related to the crucible; further, their blood is ‘accursed’ in that it can boil and burst into flames. Since blood is used to seed erdtree, perhaps the accused blood of the omen could seed a sort of crucible, or a different kind of tree altogether. What this theory asserts is essentially that Miquella, knowing this information on omen blood and it’s qualities in relation to the crucible, wanted to use Mohg and his accursed blood to turn himself into an omen in order to seed a second crucible. This could explain Miquella’s catatonic state when we see him. Maybe, then, it was us who interrupted Miquella’s plans instead of Mohg. The one aspect that does draw back from this is the line that Miquella would not share in Mohg’s bloody bedchambers. But perhaps this could be alluding to other more unusual parts of Mohg’s vile character, rather than Miquella not still using him.
Is the next Fromsoft game a noir detective game set in a dark Fantasy prohibition era city? I'd be down. Also, Goldmask definitely has the corkboard with a million pushpins and string connecting the big crime conspiracy and you find him in his apartment obsessing over it
If I had a dollar for every time I saw a Twitch streamer doing a 50's bit while playing Elden Ring, I'd have two dollars. Which isn't a lot, but it's still more than I expected.
Probably my favorite bit yet, watching the stream get derailed for like 2 hours bc one (legendary) guy came in going “what’s up with them bug nipples” was super relatable, as someone with adhd this stuff happens all the time💀 Love the streams, looking forward to where UGHN ends up in the end! (pls no dung eater, he stinky)
Huh, the abdomen of the imps are also segmented like the plates of an exoskeleton. Maybe an insect was used as the base material for the imps? Maybe they're the same insect as the Cemetery Shade bugs? Do any of the Watchdogs have insectile features? I can't believe bug nips has me thinking more about imps than I ever thought would be necessary.
Thank you for all of the incredible depth of knowledge you bring from this game. I wanted to ask about miquella and the Albunaurics. There is one in the consecrated snowfield that casts discus of light. And I was just so put back, especially after facing the misbegotten crusader. I feel like these beings in the lands between are going to have so much brought out in the DLC and I wouldn’t be surprised if we had a slave night Gael fight with Hewg in the dlc. Given his enslavement in the hold I could see a canonical reason as to if we face him in a boss fight. After beating him he could just be back in the hold given time loop, or whatever fromsoft wants to throw at us. The misbegotten I feel were overused, but the idea of facing a Hewg in his prime being in the past as a warrior for the misbegotten would be an incredible addition to this tale. Or a Hewg remembering and when we beat him after his left the hold and started something we force him back after we beat him. Keeping him there by our own means. Idk they like it dark at fromsoft. I understand if you don’t read this, I dont post my theories often but I love the amount time you put for the explanation of themes for these games and thank you again for being queen of the streams.
I wrote to much it didn’t end up sounding like a question my apologies, so with the misbegotten I feel they were overused along with the Albunaurics but they are so integral to his conflict they have to be a main enemy in the dlc. Well a more my bad eww metamorphosed Albu?
