This wasn’t peaceful. Also, this was something like day 6, so this isn’t early into it. They’re already deep in it. They can absolutely protest. That’s their right. But do it responsibly and respectfully. I don’t care what side you support, just do it right.

Many times, the right to protest is effective because it causes problems. For example, boycotting certain good for long periods of time can cause problems. Large scale walk outs of jobs to protest poor working conditions also can cause mayhem. The right to protest is effective specifically because it causes negative consequences for the opposing party
