You should partner with a cooking channel where they proceed to use your skillfully cut up vegetables and fruits to make a dish for sword fighters. BTW thank you very much for making these videos! I really appreciate.

I don't know if I'll ever have the opportunity to learn sword fighting (though I would absolutely love to learn!), but it's fascinating to watch the quick thinking and intricate movements necessary to defend yourself and gain the upper hand on the opponent. I like watching your explanations so much that I have subscribed! Thank you very much for uploading.

I also struggle with this and the nearest club is an hour drive away. With no car and a busy schedule it’s very hard to get there so i watch these and do solo drills at home. Right now i have a roll of tape propped up and my sword in hand and I’m going through the technique slowly and aiming for the center of the tape roll so I don’t move it at all. Some people tie a ball to a string and others use a pell but even if you have a stick that’s roughly the size you could start training any time.

I apologize if it's already answered, but couldn't the attacker then swipe left after being deflected (at 1:24)? It seems that the Krumphau puts the attacker into an advantageous position as well. Or would that not work?

Hi! It's about timing. By deflecting your opponents blade you also change the vector of his strike and it takes some time for him to attack in the opposite direction. this is the moment you are safe to attack. and that's also why it's important to step to the side and to bring your blade back between yourself and your opponents blade in order to stay protected.

Hiltibold aus Graz soweit ich es verstehe krumm also krummer schlag da wenn wir ehrlich sind die grund bewegung der Technik doch sehr unnatürlich ist am Anfang

Ja, "krump" bedeutet krumm. Ähnlich ist es beim Twerch-/Twirch-/Twer-/Zwerchhau mit "quer".

exercise 16,-gedi is still alife!-"sir gedi der unbezwingbare"!-jungs ab in die küche gemüse schneiden, gegen gedi habt ihr keine chance ,der spielt in einer ganz anderen liga.hahaha!
