Latigo Leather Review. Chahin Tannery Leather Latigo for Leathercraft and Leather working. For my Leathercraft and saddle making I need a good quality burgundy latigo for making buckle straps and saddle strings as well as lace strings for tie straps and rigging's on my custom made saddles
I also make buckstitch for belts and lacing string for my handmade knife sheaths with this latigo leather. #leather

Gorgeous color on that latigo. I thank you for all your video's. I've not used this leather before but have gotten hold of some very old waxed oiled leather from Scotland and am waiting for the best idea to hit me on what to make with it. lol Its a gem. Can't wait for your next video. :) Hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas and a Grand New Year!

Louise Florida /Missouri It really is hard to decide what to make when you get a beautiful piece, isn't it. I've recently gotten a hold of a leftover piece that was specifically made for a sofa. It's an absolutely gorgeous piece. I've thought about a purse with fringe, since I'm female. I was thinking of being selfish and making it for me. I just don't have it in me to cut it down to ridiculously small pieces to sell. It's so pretty.

Bruce, I see up on the wall it looks like someone whittled a wooden chain, I can relate. Nice looking leather how does it look tooled. Thank you for your videos they help.

Cousin Ben carved that chain... He said it took a while. The Latigo does not tool but the Saddle Skirting is great for tooling. Thanks!

aj coyle each ounce is 0.4 mm. In this case, 5 oz is 2mm, or 6 oz is 2.4mm Pays to practice your multiplication tables from school now! :)

aj coyle I use 5 oz ( 2mm ) in my mystery braid cuffs, or any cuff or leather bracelet for that matter. 1 oz = .4mm. I've seen some bracelets made from 7 oz (2.8mm) leather.
