I’m so glad you posted this. I’m the WIFE in a situation like this. Seeing the video title gave me extreme anxiety as I am still suffering from the trauma that has come from my husbands affair with a woman who knew of my marriage. I have been with my husband since high school and he’s been my first EVERYTHING. I will be 30 soon, We have 3 children together. And I found out about 1 year ago that he’s had a year long affair with a female that literally works right down the street from me. I’ve seen her around a handful of times, she’s even come into my job. I got pregnant about 9 months into their affair and they still continued through my pregnancy. It has been a year since the discovery and I have suffered tremendously .... mentally. My self-trust, my self love, my identity, my life, my confidence, my everything has been shattered. It has me second guessing my own self. How did you not know? How did you let him lie to you? Why would he do this to my kids, me, my life? Why did he hide this so well? How is it another woman would stand by him knowing what he’s doing? Knowing I didn’t know? Did she get a kick out of knowing she was “wanted” more than his wife? She knew i was pregnant. She knew where i lived, worked. She knew about our extremely young children. Now I’m not niave, i know that HE is 95% of the blame. HE owed me loyalty, HE stepped out on me, HE destroyed our family. But that other 5% is all HER? During this time I’ve been deeply in love with my husband, and I vocalized that every chance I got on social media. Where I later learned she would go there and stalk my page. Why not tell me? Why engage in something like that. This complete year I’ve had nothing but anger for him, we are separated and in the process of divorce. but These last 3 months I’ve developed a DEEP anger for this other woman. Because WHY would another woman do that to another woman whos 1. Pregnant 2. Has young children 3. Who can plainly see I wasn’t aware of the issues “HE CLAIMED” we in our marriage? Did you PURPOSELY believe those lies, because you wanted him so bad that you legit was willing to please yourself despite who it destroyed? Like you cared about him so much, you didn’t think that affair would hurt his kids? How do you care about him but not his kids. Although God Has completely blessed me and my children in a midst of this, my mental state has suffered tremendously. It has been 1 year and the pain is still so fresh....I’m ready to move on but I just cannot. 1 day in doing great. The next day I regress. My children had no chance at having a family. Smh. Men are so disappointing.

I've unfriended, or refused to become friendly with, women who will cheat with married men. I'm divorced now from a cheater, so I'm not protecting 'my man' ... This was pretty interesting...I am currently still married but been separated(not legally either) from my husband for over a year now. He left me for his co-worker and they got a house together and everything. She knew that he was married even till this very day but didn't care whatsoever. When I found out he was cheating with her I filed for divorce but he wouldn't agree to my terms. Now I am trying again to get a divorce requesting spousal support and him taking half of the debt he left me with. Honestly some women these days truly don't give two f*cks if you're married. I guess she believes his sweet nothings but that's her problem now not mines. What comes around goes around and I am not the one to teach her or him the lesson. They can have each other because I am at peace with myself.

I experienced a similar situation. Only that I wasn't sure if he's married. We met at my uni last year (he came to study) and on that same day he said 'I love you'. He would text me on WhatsApp to check if I've eaten (as in tryna flirt with me 🙄), help him find his way around campus, etc. He'll give excuses why we can't meet up but I didn't take it seriously because I had my own thing going with uni. We kept communicating but then it stopped until mid Feb 2020. He was begging for friendship and I refused. But then during quarantine we chatted again. Couple of weeks ago, I saw his written love letter to someone (long distance relationship) on his WhatsApp status. Then on Aug 5th, he received a jersey as an early birthday gift with the number 29. I asked of his age and he told me he'll be 29 the next day(Aug 6th). I was shocked but not really surprised. I was suspicious of him, ngl. I didn't say anything, I just deleted his phone number from both my Contact and WhatsApp messenger. I'm only 20, never dated, never had my 1st kiss and never been in a relationship. I'll be in my final year 2020/21 so I'll focus on God, me and my education.

When I was younger our mothers always warned us about married men and how to spot them and how to notice if they lie. What shocked me when I got older and those men started approach us? They didn't even try to hide it. One casually mentioned his wife multiple times and didn't even say anything bad about her and then tried to seduce me. SMH.

My husband did all of this and I was here taking care of things being that supportive wife and all that thinking we were good then I found out he was cheating and it came crashing down...the girls he was with knew he was married and one of them particularly just wanted to end my life so I had to run for my life...in my opinion majority of people don’t value marriage, they like the idea of marriage, they will play their role as long as they want to until something else catches their eye then off they go then all the attention and things they should have been doing for their spouse goes to this new person. My ex was the epitome of this, he didn't even tell me he was married only for his wife to message me 5 months later. When I confronted him, he denied it, eventually admitted he was married for 9 months and is now divorced. Eventually found out he was still married, and had been for 6 years! She blamed me calling me a homewrecker and at that time, I decided to walk away best choice ever, now they're 'happily' married again....did I mention he was on a dating app too? :/ absolute shitstorm and a lesson learnt the hard way!!!!!

Thank you for this. I recently found out the man i thought i was going the distance with is indeed married. Told me an elaborate lie abt him being divorced for the past two years. It’s not a good feeling to find out the truth but it’s def worth it to walk away once you find out. You dont want that karma coming back to you nor the stress from sneaking around with a married man and always having a piece of him. I’m still getting over the hurt from it all but I’ll be okay. I have never been with a married man and it is because of how i see them operate that my guard is always up. Men i meet, i give them my number. When they start talking to me on the phone and i see that they take long to ask me out, i block them. If i meet a man on the street and they wanna take me out right away, heck no. That's usually the behavior of someone who is taken but wants to see what they can get ASAP. These men turn my stomach and it is so sad that i always have to keep my guard up. After I got to know he ws married n dumped him, I realized y he never invested his energy, time or money in me. He missed my bday unlike my other single exes. They invested like I did but this fellow had all goodies for his family & used me as a side set up. I was so unconditional n naive.

In my experience, the men who have approached me have been separated and no longer living with their spouse. But, dating someone who is still legally married and figuring things out can be very complicated and frustrating. Even if they have filed for divorce... it can take years for all of that to get worked out. It does work out for some people, but proceed with caution.

I mean, if you are able to wreck that home, they never had a home... they had a cardboard box. However, I agree that nobody should ever jump into that drama.

Thanks for this I really need it! I had something with an engaged guy, we liked each other I failed in all the levels with him. At the end we finished our thing because he was getting married (he was marrying her to feel he was doing something w his life, he is 27, no goals at all). I made the mistake accepting the whole situation I think I just followed my emotions! He was my first time in everything that created a huge attachment emotionally. It's the HARDEST thing to do leave someone you know is NOT good, but you have feelings with + your ego. I just gave God the whole situation and I was brave enough to leave that job (we were coworkers). He always texts me, check on me but you know it's takes time, some days are better than other but some lessons you need to learn them in a hard way😭🙏🏻❤

Married, Single whatever. Every man I know cheated and unfortunately some married women are following suit. The cheater doesn’t love his wife and he doesn’t love his mistress. He loves himself. I know a man who left his wife and married his mistress. I know many men who cheat on their wives and create other families. They make great fathers but horrible husbands.
