I enjoyed your videos on Jakarta. You visited places in Jakarta that I have never seen. I have lived in Jakarta more than 20 years but have never been to Bintaro (I think technically, Bintaro is not in Jakarta). Makes me realise I need to get out of my downtown centric life. All the best in the future.

When you first arrive, for the first year, you don’t have a choice. You are housed in a gated community called Country Woods. If you have small children, this is the best option anyway. But in your second year, you are free to choose where you live. We chose Discovery because it’s really close to school and half the price of Country Woods. CW is also a bit of a goldfish bowl. Everyone knows each other’s business.

As an Indonesian, i don't prefer live in Jakarta for a long time. I always feel chaotic every time in Jakarta. I think our President thought the same thing so he moved the capital 😂 Keep up the good work sir!!! Good luck ❤
jakarta nya wilayah mana ? Pasti lu di pinggiran jakarta.. . kalau lo pergi ke pusat kota jakarta maka lo akan kagum karna jakarta terlihat sangat modern dan maju..... Semua kota2 besar di indonesia modelnya sama...banyak motor dan semrawut....tapi kalau lo tinggal di desa maka itu beda

7 years in ID and you don’t know an inkling on the backdrop of the masked figure with “the dude inside” collecting money. Make small attempts to know the culture of the land you are in mate . Let me tell you something: 95% of expats move to Jakarta for the money and not the city. And of course I was there for the money: I worked there. I wasn’t on holiday for 7 years!

Why would u have such negativity on Jkt and yet sty there nearly a decade. Most expats would also leave in less than 2 year. Get it.
