I believe, yes, LeBron and MJ would have been great together and an ultimate duo...but one thing that would've possibly changed is the longevity of play...I think MJ may have been able to have played longer having LBJ to lean on, who could rebound, pass, make his own shots and also facilitate passes all over the floor.....MJ would have had more open lanes because Lebron creates double teams at times...I agree with Shannon, they would've had possibly double digit titles............

Bruh. LeBron as outmatched in 5 out of his 6 final losses. Except 2011. That was on him. But look at the 2007 loss when he was 22 with the team he had vs the great spurs. Look at the 2014 loss and again vs the great spurs with young kawhi Leonard and d wade was half hurt and Chris Bosh didn’t do much that series. The 2015 loss. Kyrie and Kevin love was both hurt and dude was putting up 40 and 50 points games and they still loss nun he could do. I have been giving this some thought and this is what I have to offer in this scenario: I think LeBron had a style of playing the game the moment he entered the league. He a very similar style today as he did as a rookie, over the years he has become a better, more skilled shooter, where the offense is to run through him, and if there is space, he will lower his shoulder and take his man to the rim. I dont see that much of him playing off the ball, he is not a fundamentally sound player, and he dictated exactly what his role on the team was from day 1. Never have I seen him adjust his game, not for Wade, not for Irving or Bosh or Love but I have seen all those guys change theirs to accommodate him. I also believe that as much as winning is important to Jordan, I think it is an equal importance of how he wins also. The way James plays the game will make you question if MJ is indeed a better player on the team or if Jordan is holding him back. This point I think will create a divide between them. Regardless of James personality traits, he ultimately would still need a validation of how good he is, and Jordan would not accept the potential views that he is holding a player back that could be superior at playing than he is. This is why I think Jordan will always choose Pippen as his #2, because he would remain indisputably the best player on his team and in the league with a player who is his equal on defense that has all the skills needed to initiate the offense. Even though James is a much better offensive player and a more talented passer, he is not a better defender and never represent some of the qualities Pippen brought to the team. Pippen was the yang to Jordan's ying, he had the temperament to take whatever Jordan gave him, which I assume was a lot, who also played with that tenacity that earned him the respect from his team mates and Jordan. In conclusion, while on paper Jordan and James seemed like the most powerful duo ever, I just don't think it would have been the case due to the many factors I have presented. I think Wade or Durant would make for better picks over James. Would they have been better than Pippen though? Maybe..
