@@kentzy9308 Yea I think we have to start actually being critical of his game at this point in year twenty. He's probably the greatest player ever but 20 years is 20 years. And people said this same shit last year.
Caruso is decent but he wouldnt be the answer this year. Kuzma and him and kcp and dwight maybe. Offensively i think austin reaves and lonnie walker have already gave similar production as. Caruso and kcp. A kuzma like player and center and another young guys beside lebron and AD o think what we missing. The bench doesnt do much

LeBron’s efficiency might be one of the biggest calling cards of the lakers playoffs hopes When LeBron is locked in the offense looks somewhat smooth and clean looks and great touches for AD to eat and energy on defense to push transition for easy points When he’s not we heavily rely on Russ to start running the offense it lead to transition buckets and the rebounding battle plummets
LEGENDOFEDP445, this video changed my life. My entire view of everything that exists in this world, in fact, even in the entire universe. I can never look at anything I know the same way again. This video represents emotions that most humans could never understand. But I can. Thanks to this video I was awakened to many things previously considered unimaginable.
Very good video. This doesn’t really come off as a takedown or criticism of LeBrons play(which it may or may not be intended to be) but more so an indictment on the roster construction philosophy of the Lakers that places way too much responsibility on a 38 year old aging superstar in Bron and Davis(despite how well as he has been playing as of late). Rather than us fans expecting LeBron to elevate his game back to when he was 26-32 year old, the Lakers needed to surround him with pieces so he can maximize his strengths and cover his weaknesses but they didn’t do that(which is partially LeBron/Davis fault since they signed up for this) so here we are. The Spurs did that with Duncan late in his career to great effect. Just sucks to watch as a fan but it is what it is.
Bruh, nah. Lebron shoots the ball 22 times on average the last 2 years and he's steadily declining in efficiency because he cant go to the paint like he used to and is taking more jumpers and NOBODY is expecting him to do that, but the other way around. There is no excuse for Lebron not realizing that if there is a player thats supposed to shoot 22 times a game, it's Davis. Also the ball movement is just horrendous with Lebron on the floor. The issue is that Lebron needs to realize he needs to take a step back and do more to get the ball going. Set more screens, move more off ball etc etc and basically take on more so a passing first mentality like Westbrook. IMO they could be dangerous when healthy to any team and possibly make the playoffs with merely a single addition of a player. They arent that far off. Their defense with AD is the 6th best in the league even with Lebron playing little to no D. It's their stand still offense when Lebron plays. It says a lot that both their offensive as defensive efficiency at the moment is better without Lebron than with. No I'm not saying Lebron is done, nor do I underestimate how good he still is, but I think Lebron has yet to realize hes just not the player he used to be.
@@subzerofromny735 its like asking "why do i keep seeing 1+1 everywhere?!" Well my lad, truth is truth. No matter how many times you see it, facts will always be facts
Why did people keep blaming the lakers for how the team is constructed. LeBron was the one who constructed the team, he was the one recruited Westbrook. He made his bed now he has to sleep in it.
Exactly. I like the redditor’s reaction to the news “lakers is 2 players away from being a contender”. Some redditor wrote, “they are 2 players away from 2 player away”.
@@l9ikjam But look at the roster of the roster besides Westbrook and AD? They don't have the necessary pieces on that roster to compete for a championship. You need players that can complement those 3
I feel like every podcast I listen to is currently in, "lets not talk about the lakers / warriors / nets" mode so hard that the kings are actually being talked about hella rn.
this reminded me that in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons that he carried less of the offensive load and was more of a facilitator but they also had complementary pieces back then
I still don't know why Bron dismantled the roster and screwed up the future to play with russ, when he literally exposed and destroyed him in the 2020 bubble
Bruh I’ve said idk why they broke up that Bubble squad smh…they had veteran experience, size, young and hungry players fresh off a chip..tried to fix something that wasn’t broke
“Blame LeGM for trading for Russ” and “Lebron needs to play better” even though he’s 1 of only 2 good players on the entire team 😂😂 more L narratives for engagement No blame of Rob Pelinka for having all summer to trade Russ and build quality depth and he did absolutely nothing 🤦🏽♂️
Is there any evidence to support the idea people seem to have that the pacers have hield and turner earmarked for whenever the lakers want to make the trade? And with the way Tyrese is playing why on earth would they want russ?
Pacers fan, have been saying this for forever. I would literally rather continue having years of mid to late 1st round drafts like we have been for the 2000’s-2010’s, than take Russ’ contract
The Lakers organization and their over-reliance on star power has done them in. They, along with LeBron, tried to fix what was not broken and it's been catching up with them for the past 2 seasons. As for their next 15 games, I think they're capable of going 9-6 while at least looking competitive with the good teams IF they get their stuff together. But you never know with this team.
Star power will alwyas work for them and will help them get more championships in the future. What team hasn’t had a superstar lead them to a chip?? You kind of need that
They also beat the nuggets with everybody there, I’m on the side of a trade fixing the roster idc bout draft picks it’s gonna be dark clouds after Bron and AD leave anyway
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE COMIN 💛💜 we take that Indiana loss in the back of our minds and we will keep pushing now if we beat the bucks I believe we back in the mix with health of course
@@KleinpeterHank we have too much talent to do what we did last year I’m telling you bra last years team was horrible and that’s why the expectations of the lakers are diminished
That's why AD needs to step up and demand to be the focal point. Isn't that what Lebron wanted when AD got in LA. LeBron must score by not holding the ball too long.
I feel like lebron has to adapt his game a bit better even tho he’s pretty adaptable. He does this triple threat in the midrange area pretty frequently and hogs the ball for like 8 seconds with no spacing just to shoot a contested jumper or make a difficult pass. Basically what I’m saying is lebron should spend more time moving around and cutting instead of holding the ball for 8 seconds he’s been doing that pretty frequently this year.
@@jaypro959 I don’t follow the dude’s birthday, but like I said, I’ve been hearing 38 since last season. Doesn’t make a difference to me. I watched guys like Parish and Jabbar play into their 40s and I don’t recall the media or people in general harping on their ages. Just an observation.
@@LargeDude2023 ya but did they have the internet back then? The form of media that you’re hearing about Lebron’s age on literally didn’t even exist back then. Naturally people are going to discuss things more now that the entire world is interconnected. Also Kareem and Lebron are not the same. Lebron has been hated since he was a 16 year old kid by jealous old men talking shit about him on the internet.
@@rumham7631 We had tvs back then. Even cable tv. Even guys like Garnett, who retired more recently did have the constant discussion or mention of his age.
@@LargeDude2023 Word? how often were you on television? The internet allows any person with access a platform to share a message with billions of people. Were you able to do that with a TV?
Not a Lakers fan, but still surprised that they got rid of the Bubble Team... Then they got rid of the Bubble Team replacements for Westbrook Westbrook was great in Washington - but Washington wasn't great And unlike Chris Paul, who is also well overpaid for what he can do in a season, Westbrook doesn't have a game that ages gracefully Bad team construction decision after bad team construction decision IMO 🤔
Lebron/Pelinka undervalued guys like Caruso, Kuzma and Green. You know damn well we would've paid caruso that extra 10 million over westbrook if lebron demanded it.
I hate the lakers, however I feel like adding Hield and Turner to a healthy Lebron and AD is plenty enough to compete. Not so much because it makes them that much better, but moreso because of the complete lack of any dominant team in the west. Those four can easily compete in 7 games with the Suns and other top west teams
This is all common sense LoW. I don't understand how people are so blind to what's obvious here. You didn't even touch on the money situation. The Lakers are spending 129 million of their 145m total salary on just their big 3. They are spending more on Lebron or Westbrook than all of their other players put together. The 4th highest paid player on the squad is Patrick Beverly. You can't win like that if those 3 guys are not playing like top 5 players EVERY night. And they're just not. AD is showing glimpses here and there, and that's great but can he keep that up for an entire season? Because this team literally needs Top 5 AD EVERY night. Any night he takes off is a loss.
Lbj is the nightmare,he takes up to much cap,has no d,and gets too many minutes... Him Russ and pat need to be coming off the bench... They biggest mistake in the last 20 years was letting Alex go and keeping lbj
He litterally had 31 8 9 last game, just stop hating. If this team had theee point snipers that are three and d. Lebron and ad would have the space needed to dominate
Bean had 60 in his last game does not mean he could have been a playoff contender that's why la is paying lbj max to be the guy and not beg for help with his salary
I hate the Lakers, so I root for them to lose. However, I’m torn this year. I want them to lose, but any other year but this year because I’m not ready to handle a world where Wembanyama gets drafted by the Lakers
They beat the Bucks and we all know lebron is load managing for the playoffs if they make it Lets not act like Bron is Washed Bro Cmon we was saying that shit since alast year
I mean yes it's bad but just remember it could always be worse.. At the very least Laker fans you still have assets like picks and players of value to use to get more or better players... Wait what's that oh no picks or players of value... And those players that were acquired have either less value or on bad contracts.. Nevermind you're pretty much screwed but hey least you have that 1 title to show for the last decade plus of struggling after those back to back Kobe chips.. 🤷🏻♂️
I mean really the team was sunk after the Russ trade and not resigning caruso. But it’s not really like Lebron is the only problem on the team even if he deserves more blame than he generally gets. That dude commenting saying the team is gonna win a title is on one tho haha. Tho they are better than this
You know you should have posted this when the Lakers started the season 2-10, that would make you sounds like unbias... In the last 8 games, they were 6-2 which isn't that bad at all... I know they played bottom teams for like half of those times but back then when they started 2-10, they couldn't even beat a bottom teams... That's improvement so this post is unneccessary since they are slowly turning things around
If lebron somehow gets his team to the finals this year and gets the championship, I think it’s finally much harder to defend MJ as the all-time GOAT in this insane season of just absolute killers and teams. And I’m pulling for LBJ to just retire so my guy MJ stays #1 in our minds
You folks missed the elephant in the room. Maybe you people have not notice that when lechoke was playing they are loosing when he was out injury he said, the Lakers winning again now that he's back they are loosing again. The so called goat is team toxic, no wonder the warriors don't want him even if he wants so badly to move to golden state and play with Curry and help him rings.
This video ain't it my guy. You're being very nit picky about what you what to discuss when this team since finding its stride is very dangerous. Yes LeBron hasn't been playing very great (for his standards) and he does have his mishaps but as the season goes on, you can tell that LeBron is finding it again, and so it the team. Every single year you guy always make videos about how LeBron is lacking on defense when its obvious that 1. he has to find his rhythm, its not as easy especially as you get older to get in that mode consistently and 2. he obviously isn't giving maximum effort every single game. Versus the Bucks and Blazers LeBron played excellent defense vs Giannis and Grant in the second half when needed and essentially was their primary defender. He has the capabilities. You shouldnt be worried about LeBron, and these last few games show why. AD is playing out of his mind and the rest of the team is actually starting to make shots and play well. Nit picking Buddy Hield getting by Austin Reeves is very disingenuous because me and you know that Buddy is one of the most craftiest players in the league and even just playing ball casually you would know that blowing by someone doesn't always have to do with speed. Austin is a great defender, so is Lonnie, and Troy. Obviously Bev as well. Thomas Bryant isn't a paint beasts but when he actually gets in he's a great force inside. Let alone Dennis coming back. Good put together video, but if you really paid attention to the team, you would see that the lakers are legit and their record that started off bad isn't a great indication seeing how they have literally beaten the Bucks and Nuggets. Losing to the Pacers off a last second game winner shouldn't be a topic of discussion, it happens. The Pacers are actually good.
ummm depending on stars is how the whole NBA is set up. If Steph and Draymond don't perform GSW doesn't win. If Booker and Paul don't perform PHO doesn't win. If Tatum and Brown don't perform BOS doesn't win. If Giannis and MIddleton don't perform MIL doesn't win. If Lebron and AD don't perform LA doesn't win. Not sure what the point is.
Westbrick is still the the worst liability. Man's taking 47mil coming off the bench, and should never ever close games with 0 ball IQ. And of course that blame lies on Lechina
