LeBron James has some serious opinions about Caitlin Clark. Here's what he said about the new WNBA star. #LeBronJames #CaitlinClark #Thoughts Voiceover By: Krystle Futrell Read Full Article: www.nickiswift.com/1587488/le...
To be honest, I have a little more interest because of the Clark- Reese rivalry. Rivalries / competitiveness have always made any sport more exciting. What could change that fact now? Because that’s a fact. However, Watching them made me recognize the many players that are better than both of them. I rightfully support the best players- at least as much as any rookie. Nothing’s changed about this being a team sport. Morals and principles over flesh/ material- everytime! Nothing’s new!
You have a clown circus in Reese, and you have a normal white girl in Caitlin... If Caitlin looked like Reese we would still be trying to tell Caitlyn that she doesn't belong... I hope Caitlin takes your ass to school, I hope that the wnba (wanna) suffers! There's no one in the wnba (wanna) that deserves recognition unless fans recognize you! It's black girls hating white people, just say it already
As if men are all jumping at the bit to be supportive of one another in competitive sports 😂 men have literally killed one another over this ish. You guys are 1000 times worse.
All these whiners complaining they're not getting paid enough but when someone shows up who could have a positive impact they behave like spoiled children.
I think thats OK There are others who have worked hard to get there.THEY HAVE PAID THEIR DUES.Her time will come the one She would have replaced time is now.
And in this case it's also racist, because everyone knows darn well she would not be the object of anywhere near this much hate if she were black. Woke leftists are anti-white racists, period.
I think that’s the thing the argument before was no one wanted to watch WNBA ( side arguments women not as good, shouldn’t make as much money etc etc etc) Well now they do, mainly because of her and some folks don’t like that
Bingo! So many of these black women in the WNBA are pissed because they hate white chicks being in basketball spot light. Plan and simple. This is antiwhiteism.
Bs Caitlin is struggling in the WNBA, the critics weren’t hating they were speaking from experience And they’re right. The only team worse than the Fever has only 1 team worse then them and that team lost a MVP calibre player. Lebron is pandering. Yes people are watching but she’s playing horribly as Dianna said she would, since the WNBA is much more difficult than the College game.
@@truthnotfeelings Not doubt she is adjusting, but Lebron pandering??? What the hell does that mean? This chick can ball and I will say she is getting WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY to much attention base on what she looks like vs on how she plays, no doubt. Game recognize game, that's what I took from LBJ....don't get it twisted🤨
@@truthnotfeelings Only reason I’m here right now is because of CLARK. Not any of that non-sense you’re speaking. 😎🍻🇺🇸 No matter what you say, she is the greatest thing to ever happen to the WNBA as far money and fans, PERIOD.
@@melechdomeyhwh MY ego? You are the one who can't handle a white person being the best athlete (in both men's and women's basketball Bird / Clark). Deal with it and stop crying.
Men are applauding Caitlyn because we can see her skills. It’s women and media adding negativity. The WNBA should be excited because Caitlyn and Reece will bring fans
This is where I agree with LeBron James Caitlin Clark has a chance to make this for it profitable. Women don't hate use this moment to grow your sport sometimes women can be their biggest roadblock let this girl rock if you have something to say put it on the court bring it in the game the right way. But if you want your sport to grow grow with the hype you have to be marketable and you have to be smart Don't blow it WNBA.
The old saying is, "any publicity is good publicity." Caitlin Clark is providing a lot of good publicity for the WNBA. Only fools think there is something wrong with that.
They do on The View all the time. If somebody calls them out about it, then they say it's what has been done to them. They are not completely right or completely wrong. However, this behavior is no different than what their grandparents had to protest, march, and boycott against.
10 mins or 15 mins a game as the reply says, for Kobe's 1st year, that's low enough to be very interesting. Kove a superstar to be, with that low of time 1st yr. And Caitlin playing lots of minutes.
I think you are going to see her get better next year....as during the off season she's going to put her hard hat on and she will get stronger and faster....she's going to make bigger noise forward....in the meantime Fever is filling their home games...she's filling the seats on the road...people watching on TV...merchandise sales are way up....players and league should be saying a big thank you to her!
Nope. Caitlyn Clark is white mediocrity embodied. White chicks cannot fathom losing another sport to black women since Venus and Serena Williams. She was overhyped too soon just like Naomi Osaka who has since left since she got a documentary and a record deal. She's got a baby now and doesn't need money
It's classic jealousy. I understand. My hopscotch career was seriously sidelined when a fellow pre-scholer slipped a banana in my way. The torturous healing process left me with PTSD that rivals most sand box vets.
She just came off a full college season also and then right into wnba. I know pros are pretty hearty but I'm curious to see how they manage her exhaustion, that's a lot of basketball
Clark has to wake up and fight if she gives a --- about her EPIC shooting and ESP her record assist game. Sides/WNBA is obliterating it to dumb it down to WNBA level.
Of course it is not about her race. Caitlin is the Michael Jordan of the WNBA. She's led her team to, well she will lead her team to championships. She's been the league's leading scorer, well she will be the league's leading scorer. She's been the WNBA league's MVP, well she will be MVP, someday. Someday, she will accomplish so much, so give her signature shoes, largest endorsement contracts, well RACE has nothing to do with it! hehehe
That's another thing , raising prices as much as they did. 165.00 is a average price .How great that is for a father to take a daughter or 2 daughters to a Basketball game. That's a JOKE.
Diana only spoke the truth. What the fk is wrong with that. All she said was she will be playing against grown ass woman not 18-20 year olds. For all the fkn morons out there who think thats not true you are out of your minds. Its the best of the best and so far & I know its only been a few games Caitlin and the rest of the rookies are finding that out. They are playing ok but I think they are realizing this is a much tougher league than college. So what Diana said is nothing but the truth of what it will be like for the rookies coming in. Once they adjust to the talent level that is the WNBA they will be fine.
Bird and Magic I'd say. Both entered the NBA at the same time and quite literally saved the NBA. Clark is doing the same thing for the WNBA ....if they let her I mean.
@@OntarioAndrews415 She’s one of the GOATs of the WNBA - first overall draft pick in the 2002 WNBA draft, 4x WNBA champion, 5x Olympic gold medalist, 2x NCAA champion, 4x FIBA World Cup winner, 13x WNBA all-star, 8x All-WNBA, and so many other accolades. As far as the WNBA goes, she’s first all-time in assists, third all-time in steals, and eighth all-time in points. She retired after the 2022 WNBA season. (And yes, she’s also a white girl.)
Was not expecting that from Lebron. It was refreshing to hear. The game (as with everything) should not be centered around skin color but rather, just talent.
With today’s generation and everyone being broke they’ll figure out ways to make even the slightest amount of profit. For instance, buying season tickets right as Caitlin Clark joins the team to up the price lmao
For years, a bunch of WNBA players complained no one watched the WNBA, now they complain about the person that actually got people to watch. The saddest part is this was inevitable. Victims always find something to be a victim about and the #1 reason these women hate Caitlin Clark is because she isn't one of them. Shes not a victim, she carries herself like a professional and they can't stand it.
Catlin deserves her props. She brings it and people have noticed. There's no reason to hate on her because she's good at her game. There will be others but, right now, she's it. Go Catlin!
I want to see Caitlin Clark start smiling and laughing at these girls taking cheap shots at her on the court. These competitive insecurities coming from other WNBA players is embarrassing!
What I find extremely funny is how haters like Reese say "...all she's got is that 3 point shot." Well, against the likes of you Ms. Reese, THAT'S ALL SHE NEEDS. Haters are gonna hate, and Reese and the rest of them are all HATERS.
LeBron took a Cleveland team with 17 wins the year before...doubles their wins to 35 in his rookie season. Within 3 years, Cleveland is in the NBA finals. With James, Cleveland enjoys 6 consecutive winning seasons. The year he leaves them, they immediately COLLAPSE. Let's see if Clark will have the same impact on the Fever. Right now, at 1-5, it's not looking favorable.
@@weedermannLebron wasnt the only addition to the Cavs his rookie year. The following other players were added: 1.Tony Battie 2. Kendrick Perkins 3. Ilgauskus was back from injury 4. Jason Kapono 5. Jeff McGinis 6. Ira Newble 7. Kevin Ellie 8. Eric Williams Also you should know that the Cavs purposefully tanked the 2003 season in order to be able to get the 1st pick to draft Lebron. So the whole 17 games team win thing is just a made-up narrative by talking heads on First Thing First. So do your research before spreading that 🧢 narrative. And I do remember his rookie campaign - rational folks believe Melo shouldve won ROTY, not Lebron. Melo helped the Nuggets to 43 wins. Lebron helped the Cavs to 35 wins. Those are just the facts. Facts over feelings. Period.
@@weedermann I hope ur right, but I don't see it. She will get alot of support from the actual fsns, but some people in the media (including ESPN) is already slamming her and talking about her skin. There's been a few people take up for her though.
The media has been doing what the media does. It lives off of blowing things up out of proportion and then feeding off of the controversy they helped create in the first place. If there's not a problem, they will create one so that they can report on it incessantly. That's how they secure viewership, attract sponsors, and make money. It's a business, not a public service. And let the buyer beware. Catlin is a talented and hard-nosed competitor. She will toughen up even more, adapt her game to the WNBA, and become an outstanding player, if not a star, for many years to come. She is good for the game. Caitlin Clark will lift all boats.
Cynthia Cooper was 34 years old which means that she was already an expert when it came to the game and I'm not throwing shade at Cynthia because she's a dog... But give this girl till the end of the year. You seem like a knowledgeable fan of the WNBA so you should know that the fever have been ass for years...💯
Caitlin is the real deal, a once in a generation talent, her drive, perseverance, and demand for perfection is apparent , high praise from LeBron is well-deserved, I remember when he was drafted out of high-school even I doubted his talent ,after a few months he converted all the doubters, I hope Caitlin has a long successful career, now Indiana can build a team around her to make them better
I'm a dude and I don't watch most female sports, let alone basketball. I'm literally watching the WNBA because of Clark. Time will show she'll raise the bar of the WNBA.
CAITLIN CLARK IS THE BEST THING TO HIT THE WNBA. WIN OR LOSE HER ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING! She will do her best to teach these trash bags how to respect. If they don’t learn, that’s on their soul. Caitlin is a good human and that will never change. ❤
This is the first time I’ve heard lebrons opinion and agreed. He’s finally not just jumping on whatever trending bandwagon with his platform and going against the grain with his opinion.
didnt you just listen to agh damn word that was said!! no one gives af what agh hater thinks!! god shes got like 15 more years to play but you already have her Carrer map out!! when lebron said stay away from those people !! he was talking about U!!! lmaoooo U really want to be that douche on here?? they type of person that hes talking about hahahahahahahaha all proudly like its just my opinion WaaahhWahhh Wahhhhh
I remember when Taurausi was a rookie, and she was the next big thing. She has had a great career, but as the years went by, the excitement around her kind of faded and the WNBA sank back into obscurity. There have been a couple of other rookie stars, and the same thing happened. I hope the WNBA can continue to attract more viewers because women deserve to paid well for achieving excellence, but I'm not too hopeful. Same thing with soccer.
Toronto Canada just awarded (May 23, 2024) a WNBA franchise beginning 2026…Toronto be looking for a “Caitlin Clark” out there somewhere, somehow, sometime soon…
Yes they would. Most people would just say it behind closed doors. Black people are pretty good at shooting it straight directly to you. Caitlin Clark supporter here by the way.
My wife could give a rats ass about sports let alone the WNBA. I slept in yesterday and when I got up she had the Fever-Sky game on. All the talk around CC has even made her a fan.
LeBron James just wants to be on those folks good side by supporting Caitlin. He already gets enough hate as it is from trolls and people that wants him to shut up and play ball. I still think she's highly overrated.
Caitlin Clark is a generational talent, no question about it. I think she needs a few years to fully adapt to the WNBA level. Once Clark reaches her full potential along with Aliyah Boston and NaLayssa Smith, the Fever will compete for Championships year in and year out.
I have never been a basketball fan (NBA or nothing else) until now, thanks to Caitlin Clark. You rock Girl. ... and to any players beefing with her, guess what, because of her, your pay scale just increased.
I guess Clark is the reason Las Vegas ,Chicago and others have increased their sales and revenue. There are a lot talented woman that have actually played and played well in the past. Clark is good but it doesn’t show in her record at this point and her team overall. I think there is some overhyping of the “jealousy “ discussions - what is there to be jealous about? Clark needs to come in and take bumps just like everyone before her. If she wants to make plays like the one she did with Carter’s teammate and then talk smack then be prepared for the repercussions Like my Gramma used to say “if you write that check you need to be able to cash it when the time comes”. She is not the only face of the WNBA. Give some credit to the other new players that are coming in. Also, thank you to the players that have paved the way.
Womens basketball hate towards CC reminds me of how Joe rogan talked about how the comedy scene use to be. How everyone was jealous cause of the lack of opportunities.
