@@Dr-puppensteinthe fact that you reduce those series to just LeBron flopping is hilarious. Sorry the 90s and 2000s rules are gone man, but life goes on 🤷🏽♂️.
@twosense7723 this has nothing to do with hand checking your queen literally dives on the floor and cries with nobody even touching him. He's so stupid he has flopped on the floor when his own teammate runs by him😂
They wiping i wish they were in the same team they would’ve won like 10 rings back to back but they had that rival thing going on that’s what brings more money and fans like boxing
I’m a Blazer fan and Steph has destroyed us for years but man I’m glad I got to watch his whole career. He’s one of those guys you hate only because he’s so damn good. Kobe’s passing taught me something and that’s to appreciate greatness. Because I couldn’t stand Kobe his entire career but it hit me like a truck when he passed. Never been a player like Steph
As you look like a proper basketball fan to me judging from this comment, wdyt about those ppl that love to say that Dame is Curry's equal and that he would've got as many rings if not more had he play in GS all this time instead of Curry? 😂😂
@@judyclarkson5887 Ooh my stance on that is that Steph is objectively a better player, but I also don’t think the gap is as far as most people think. I think if you swapped Dame and Steph, Dame may have 1 or 2 rings, but highly doubt he has 4. I also think Curry, as ridiculously good as he is, wouldn’t have won a ring with the rosters Dames had his whole career. Only so much a guard can do in the playoffs when he’s being trapped at halfcourt and his role players can’t shoot.
Same. Im a celtics fan and i hated lebron when i first watch basketball becauss of the media propaganda that mj is way better. But when i dived deeper into basketball, watching mj vs bird, 92 and 93s ymca overrated defense and especially with kobe passing. I broke free from media(mj fanboying) narrative of hating curry and lebron for no reason. Kobe passing taught me to respect greatness and the ballz to admit. 80s and 90s is overrated
Wrong. Spurs were on their way to win it all in 2017 if it wasn't for Zaza and Rockets would have beaten the Cavs in 2018. 2015 was the only year Cavs should have won if they were healthy.
@@TheRealGreekFreak34Cavs would’ve lost in 2015 no matter what get over it. Cleveland only won in 2016 because: Draymond suspended for game 5, Steph playing on a sprain mcl in his right knee he hurt twice during the playoffs round 1 game 4 and wcf game 7, and Bogut getting hurt the same game 5 Draymond was suspended for. Even if the Spurs win game 1 in 2017 they’re not winning the series and you can lie to yourself all you want
@@YonkoBlackbeard Wrong. Cavs went up 2-1 without Kyrie and Love. That series went down to the wire. Game 1 and 6 Cavs would have won. Spurs had been beating the Warriors in the regular season and in game 1 they were up by 20 late in the 3rd until Kawhi got hurt. The biggest difference? With Kawhi, they were +28 in team efficiency. Without, they were - 30. That's how good and important Kawhi was. He was dubbed as the best player in the world by most analysts and pundits that year.
@@Ace1Yoda Exactly and they were still up by 20 and were completely dominating them. The Warriors had trouble against those Spurs all year. Imagine if Kawhi was 100%.
It’s best to have somebody who doesn’t care about scoring and other stats to guard somebody like Steph. Your job is to make it a 4 on 4 game and eliminate you & Steph from play.
Nobody plays like the warriors. The amount of split actions they do and all the movement and passing too. They never have a guy in the top 5 in assists per game but are always #1 in assists per game as a team. Everyone passes and moves.
No it wouldn’t be epic.. the NBA is not going to allow Steph to win 5 championships before Lebron… at least not while Lebron is still playing. All we’ll see is whistle after whistle, giving the lakers free points. Last year, the lakers shot 53 more free-throws than the Warriors. Never, ever in the history of basketball, on any damn planet, had one team shot that many more free-throws than another… and no one batted an eye! Not one Media Talking Heads mentioned it. As long as Lebron won and kept Steph from possibly having a chance at 5-Rings, all was good.
All the h8 that LeBron receives and yet, he doesn't allow it to make him bitter. He gives respect. He gives players and coaches their flowers. Just goes to show you what an individual is capable of when he or she places the mission 1st. #GoatMuzik 🐐 🎶
What? Gives players and coaches their flowers? Gives respect?? 😂😂😂 he threw his whole 2011 team under the bus, wanted Spo fired, got virtually every coach fired, traded his teammates left right and centre 😂😂😂 “When he or she…”😂😂😂 FFS we’re talking men’s bball here…you don’t have to be PC and state “he or she” - I swear this generation of kids are fcked.
Nooo, Ppl don't understand hate is fuel. You can't be great allowing hate to make you bitter that's not how greats are born. Hate is more inspiration than anything when you trying to be the best at something
@TheMonjok24 It's a recreational sport for those who simply love to play with their friends. It's much much more than that when you plan to use the sport to not only feed your family but many others. #GoatMuzik 🐐 🎶
The greatest PG I’ve ever seen. Limitless range ,quick release, catch & shoot, off the dribble, pull up, & behind the back step-backs shots, elite ball handling & passing. Not to mention you chasing him around the whole game nonstop.
Wayne Gretzky was like that. At his prime, people were fascinated by what he did when he didn't have the puck. People were amazed to see him skating away from plays, while somehow creating a scoring opportunity.
LeBron James and Stephen Curry are good friends. They both play good I hope they both make it to the finals together and play together. That’ll be fun.
No he doesn't. He has played on two superteams his career and won 3 rings with them. First one was, Miami heat. Dwade, Chris Bosh and Ray Allen. Second one was with kyrie and Kevin love in Cleveland
@@yoitsSmitty2004 no he’s not draymond is more of a point guard. Lebron just said curry is the best when he doesn’t have the ball. He also is off ball and going around the screens and getting open threes. That’s not what point guards do. He’s not a primarily ball handler. He also isn’t really a good playmaker
It's true. He moves like rip Hamilton used to but he's a way better shooter on top of it. Probably gonna be a long time before we see anybody like him again, truly special.
Its not only his shooting. He is maybe the player with the best stamina in NBA history. Bro is running the whole game and shooting with a pulse of 100. His shooting form is like if you blink you loose.
@@jamestaylor2979 he was defensive player of the year and mvp and finals mvp. He did it all with all games played at the season. If its about stamina in a few seasons its Jordan. If its about longevity its LeBron only.
@@almomujki5499 he was not finals mvp when he won dpy and mvp for 1 and he was hand checking bums so that doesn’t even really matter! Plus he retired literally cuz he needed a break 2wice! It was a big mans league back then and his direct competition on the wing was weak! While the best players today are on the wing where Bron has to play and deal with them directly its just different brah 🤷🏾♂️
Imagine a player had not only 1 not 2 , exact 3 eras with the biggest rivalries at those times . Big4-Lebron , Lebron-OKC/Spurs , Curry-Lebron . That’s what greatness it is . My glorius King 👑👑
Ray Allen, RIP Hamilton, these guys were essentially running Wide Receiver routes in the NBA, and once they caught the ball it was nothing but a swish.
True but nobody has done it as much as curry. Ive seen those other guys play and as good as they are, they arent on stephs level at shooting or off ball movement.
@@unknowntrademark9992 Curry is the greatest shooter of all time. That's a FACT. But the lack of hand checking and super defensive rules to where if you sneeze on a player makes him look better than he is. Lol ALL elite scores today look unstoppable. Lukas SLOW ass will drop a 50 piece without thinking about it. 🤣
Yeah you clearly didn’t watch the 2011 finals. If you did then you wouldn’t be regurgitating the same bullcrap that has been disproven time and time again. Keep chasing narratives though. Have fun wasting your time 👏😂
Nope. He guarded him for no more than 6-7 possessions in the entire series. If I was to bet I'd say even less than that. There was the one possession where it happened at the height of LeBron throwing the Finals away, and it stuck as a joke, later becoming a bit of a rewrite of history. By it happened I mean that LeBron was unwilling to attack the mismatch in the post, not that Barea did anything to clamp him down in particular. Lebron was just way to passive that series but yall always bring up lebrons failures but never bring up Kobe in 04 he was terrible that series even as a Kobe fan he sucked that finals yet it’s never brought up by mj fans and mj and in 1996 in the last 3 games he averaged 23-5-3 on 35fg percentage but nobody talks about that because he won the last 3 games of 2011 lebron averaged 15-8-8 on a way higher efficiency but still not great 43% every single all time great has had a bad game or a bad series relative to what they are expected at why do yall only talk about lebrons failures 13 years ago when he’s proved countless times since then that there’s no true way to stop him only slow him down he’s worked on his game in those 13 years those narratives were true 13 years ago that lebron is a playoff choker but it’s not anymore
😂 LeBron is not bad at defense. He’s amazing at it. He’s just old now. He can’t spend as much energy as he used to. He has to conserve his energy so he can still carry the scoring burden on offense and also play real defense when the game is on the line. He has to pick and choose his spots. He’s not in his 20s anymore. He’s about to be 40.
MJ also never jumped from super team to super team. Anyway, Reggie Miller was a similar player and shooter. Steph just shoots way more and handles the ball more. But you barely started watching basketball so that shows that you don't know sh*t!
@@Q.B.2.L.B.MJ Legit un-retired to form a super-team as well as one of the best teams in all of NBA History. Steph’s far better than Reggie, and was on a way better team☠️
Didn’t Steph curry beat him 3x in the finals and beat him few nights ago and he giving on advice on how to guard curry…😑am I in the twilight zone?what next?he gonna tell us how to guard Jj barea and Jason Terry 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾♂️
Thing is , 30-40 yrs ago , this was basketball. Red Auberach used to have TV commercials talking about fundamentals of basketball , in one of them he says :"game is 48 mins, good players have the ball in their hands less than 10 mins, what you do the other 38 minutes is what makes a good player great" I hate how all this died and went down to "can you make 3s?"
Forearm shiver every time he cuts down low through lane. Up in his face on your end baseline to baseline. Reason he does what he does is because you don't pick him up in back court. Allowed FREE to roam his path. A slot receiver must be jambed at the line and rode the 5 yards. He's the 3 step timing receiver. If he's jambed, he's not able to be hit at 3 step timing. Disrupt their timing. Disrupt everything curry does, it's 8 sec in back court. Take that freedom away.
