LeBron James sent a clear message to the Lakers recently: do what I want or I will leave. He’s done this is the past and had success but is there a chance LA calls his bluff? This is a look at the standoff and what happens next.
I get where you’re at. But you could also look at it from a business perspective. I wouldn’t be surprised if a small/mid market team will grab that opportunity to sign Lebron. Just like how inter miami offered so much for a post-prime Messi. Or al nassr for CR7. It’s not just about winning. It’s marketing. Imagine the ticket and jersey sales alone. The media coverage for the first father and son teammates in the nba.
Yknow, its strange. Lebron and A.D. are the two players with the most problems with the way Darvin Ham coaches. Yet, when those two sit out with injury, the rest of the lakers win a gane against the number one seeded celtics, while presumedly using Darvin Ham's system. Food for thought.
Oh Godddd 🥴 Yes Darvin fckin Ham knows more basketball than LeBron James. STOP IT. How bout you show me their record since Ham's hiring when AD and Bron aren't out on the floor? Righttttt. We don't wna see tht record do we.
What? Reaves/D'Lo/Rui, and even Christie have all thrown shade at Ham's direction. They beat the Celtics shooting 50% from 3, of course they were going to win. That's like when they beat OKC shooting 50% from 3 WITH Lebron. You watch the Jazz game without Lebron? Offense doesn't look so great when the quick 3's stop falling. And the Celtics were sleep walking on defense. As soon as Mazzulla benched Holiday/Brown/White for the bench, the lead started to go away once they matched the Lakers energy. They beat the Clippers twice with AD and Lebron. They beat OKC twice with AD and Lebron. But you're insinuating that the Lakers are better without them because they shot over 50% from 3 and caught the Celtics sleeping in one game? lmao, rich
I do NOT want him on the Knicks, we’ve finally built a strong roster with great chemistry and identity. Lebron would throw all that out the window and hes 40 and could retire at any moment
That's why I have a hard time understanding the claims of LeBron having some sort of peerless, genius-level basketball IQ. Like, shouldn't a basketball savant understand that giving up your depth for a bunch of ball-hogs is not a winning formula?
Hopefully for yours and other Knicks fans' sake, they won't be that stupid. You guys got something going there potentially, let's see what that group can do and maybe figure out what the missing pieces might be in the offseason or something. Because chances are if you trade for LeBron, the Lakers are going to want some of the pieces on your roster you guys have, which in the long run could hurt you guys. And at nearly 40 years old, LeBron isn't exactly a long term option anymore
Imagine hoping a 40 year old who's showing significant stagnation on court will lead you to multiple titles by surrounding him with All Stars. Lakers GM is wild.
Same. At his age he can't take over like he used to. The team actually has better ball movement when he isn't in the lineup. When he's in the game he holds the ball to long and players just stand in the corners. Trade him to NY we'll eventually get someone someday to build around
Took the Lakers long enough. They shouldn't have fired Vogel and shouldn't have traded for Russ. That was the time they should have not listened to Bron.
@@ibeatyoutubecircumventingy6344 To say that Lebron has no skill (Basketball I.Q, Passing ability, Athleticism) is a wild argument. To compare Lebron to Thannis is also a pretty wild take. Bron isn’t the most skilled but to say he’s not at all is far from true.
@@AMHoopsfor the first time in since forever. That act he put on was sad, and he made the mistake of trying to make his team look bad. I say just buy him out, and let him go find his own team. And then we'll see how that works. If NY signs him, they'll regret it.
Lakers fans are delusional if they didn't see this coming. He leaves every team in shambles the second he doesnt get his eay or it doesnt benefit HIM anymore.
You mean the teams that were in shambles before he got there? How about you stop crying and before you say something you heard you go and see those teams before he got there and tell us where they were at? And then after you say he left don’t forget to say he took a championship to that team before leaving.
Cavs before he arrived in 03: top 3 worst franchises in the league. Cavs during him: Finals bound Cavs before him in 2015: Lower seed in EC. Didnt make the playoff a single time w/o him even with THREE number 1 picks. Cavs after him: 1 title, Finals in every year he was there Lakers before him: no title in a decade Lakers now: A title, WCF last year You can hate LeBron all you want, but put this pin on your hate boner
The Lakers 100% have had enough of lebron its really obvious they dont care and know they dont need him as "future piece" because if they kept him he would have em in a choke hold.
I think it’s best for our future we should wait to the off season wait out his contract let him walk in the summer and trade nearly everyone for future picks we have top 5 protected for 2025 im sick of lebron no point wasting more of our future for him he’s leaving to play with his son
Lol bron needs to sit tf down. He’s 39 and just isn’t as impactful as he used to be. He can’t lead a franchise anywhere at this point. Dude needs to accept that rn he’d be lucky to be the 2nd leading scorer on an actual contender. Ain’t nobody doubting his greatness but he just isn’t what he was even 3 years ago. It’s only natural, everyone ages
PRIME Lebron needed TWO certified HOF talents AND a plethora of ELITE three point shooters...Only to go 3.5 - 6 in the Finals with the worst +/- of any player in Finals history, the most losses of any player (post-merger) in Finals history, and 3 of the 10 worst defensive performances by any SF in Finals history. Food for thought. Without PEDs, where would he even be?
Bronny doesn’t even start on a bad USC team. He shouldn’t even be drafted and who in their right mind would mortgage a franchise future for 1 year of a 40 year old lebron? 😂
I feel kinda bad for the kid though. The media is making him out to be way better than he actually is. There will be expectations he will never live up to. But he chose this route so I can’t feel that bad. I agree with you, I don’t think he should be drafted. Not with what he’s shown so far.
@@ALmizzle415 agreed, but I would think he could still develop into something. Maybe or maybe not. But in normal circumstances, no player like him would want to rush out and get drafted immediately. It could stunt his development.
Idk why people really think this. There’s 30 teams in the NBA, somebody is gonna be desperate enough to gamble a pick away for a chance at Lebron. Especially because Bron would probably sign for cheap at this point in his career to play w Bronny
It’s toxic to have a teammate who insists on being the GM as well. You can’t really trust them. One moment, he’ll be like “oh yeah, we cool,” but the next, he’ll be like “trade em.” A teammate’s job is simply to get along with those beside you and lift them up, not to play god and control where they go the moment they mess up. I don’t like LeBron.
That's why I say, his teammates don't like him. He tried to make them look bad, but just pisses them off, to the point they beat the best team in the east.🤣🤣🤣🤣. Lefraud is whole 🤡.
@@AlldatJazz-rw9wyand those same teammates have nothing but praise for Lebron and reaves even said that lebrons comments motivated the team…but yea lets take the word of a nobody like u tho over the actual players in the locker room🤣
The puppeteer string are severely frayed. Just 2 weeks ESPN said big on will sign a 4 year contract this summer. Jahwanna Mann might happen when and if Bigbon turns tranny. Dwight H. Is already training for wnba
Bro, you are spot on this analysis! Life long Lakers fan here, I am appreciative that he came helped get us a championship but us fans have grown tired of his passive aggressive behavior, indirect messages, and lack of accountability as a Leader. He needs to spend less time on social media, and spend more time developing CHEMISTRY with his teammates and COACH. Lakers have been relevant way before him (16 chips) and will be relevant long after he's gone.
@@richardkenny7555 lol Lakers were a "dumpster fire" his first season there when they didn't make playoffs and he made AD force a trade to come save him 😂
Been saying for 2 years he should have been traded. The minute Lebron leave I really won’t be suprised if ad is next on the trading list, he’s honestly only here to please Lebron but now there finally understanding you don’t build around a 38 year old man
If they are smart they keep AD. He plays well with the other teammates, and I think he doesn't like LeBron either. That snub on the MVP was wrong, and AD didn't like it.
@@AlldatJazz-rw9wy i think AD realized after the first year that bron is only about bron. When he broke the scoring title AD didn't even celebrate. He just sat there. AD hates lebron now but knows it's easier to please him than for him to turn on you.
@@Unidentified_userr now they saying LeBron says he's not leaving. Naw he knows there's no real market for his old ass. AD still has some years left, and I would love to see him play without Lefraud.
AD should play without LeBron. Lakers should trade him, get a 2nd option for AD who's a team player. AD when healthy is a top 10 player in the NBA easily
@@AlldatJazz-rw9wy exactly he thinks teams are lining up to get him. He still thinks he can go anywhere. Knicks arent making any move for him. The only place he can stay is the Lakers.
You could literally just put a Bulls logo on Jordans headstone and everyone would know exactly what that means. Lebron would need an entire mausoleum wall to explain his sketchy legacy.
This narrative that LBJ is still a top 10 player is ridiculous. He hurts his team by his lack of defense, slow & ball dominant offense, and stat-hunting. Of course his threats don’t work anymore.
Exactly, he’s not top 10 , he plays no defense and blames everyone when they lose and he throws up bad shots as the shot clock expires when all the other players just stand around 😂
He's easily still top ten - especially for the playoffs. Every season, we see guys go off with the wildest stats. But even now, come playoff time, very, very few are are nearly as reliable and consistent as LeBron is.
If I were Pelinka, I'd get rid of LeBron ASAP. You can get a good return, you still have AD to build around, and you don't mortgage your future for one last futile attempt at a run this year.
@@user-bf9jj5yt4yin an era with no defense and where he gets away with 99 offensive fouls. Has no bag and stalls the offense. on top of that plays zero defense. and if a media circus. yea id trade him cuz if not he’ll just leave the team in shambles like he always does
As a Laker fan I’m 100% in trading Lebron. Remember when this goofball told the Lakers to trade their depth for Westbrook after winning a championship. This capper 🧢 can go. We ain’t the Cavs buddy. The Laker name is bigger than Lebron. And if AD wants to do the same idc. Dude was brought in to be the guy of the franchise by now but hasn’t fulfilled it.
@@Gurenn83if you know real basketball then Bron definitely should be your goat since his physically, mentally, and skills wise the greatest basketball player of all time.
@@is.that.Mazzi. 1. Jordan 2. Lebron 3. Kobe Yes I have witnessed all three of them and not someone who just watched Jordan on random RU-vid video highlights.
Why would anyone waste an early round draft pick or any for that matter for a 6.0ppg players shooting 37%? Kid needs to stay in school at least another year.
It took another huge free throw disparity to beat the Knicks. That’s now 34 more free throws for the Lakers than their opponents in the last two wins. It’s also no surprise that tonight they have a 6-0 free throw disparity at the end of the first quarter. Did I mention they are dead last in the NBA in drives in the paint. Worse than Detroit and San Antonio. I’d hate to be a Laker fan. I’d feel like my team earn anything. Lebron has killed the NBA!
"LeBron doesn't believe in load management". Lies. That man led the way on load management during his 2nd stint in Cleveland, only slowing his roll on that when Kawhi started getting all that negative press. LeBron STILL load manages. He just usually has some "injury" as an excuse. That way, he can load manage while not getting any bad press. Genius.
Long time Lakeshow fan! How can the organization be blind to his antics? He's no longer what others thought he was. He has no intestinal fortitude, he runs from critical moments when real superstars crave those moments you show the world who's the best!😊
Proof throughout history that after their prime, in their respective field of work, they no longer have any power/leverage just seniority if allowed and that doesn't mean much after a certain point as well
What do you mean his legacy, he already messed that up, buddy is self centered and if i were the knicks i wouldn't even bother entertaining Lebum, he is just going to mess that team up, as always.
Trade a$$ to Detroit. You been a play-in team the last 3-4 years with him and he is going to ruin the chemistry of any team he goes to, so you not losing much by trading him. Hell you might get better if some team is dumb enough to give you good pieces for him that fit better with AD, Reeves, and Dlo
I really wanna see which organization takes Bronny on draft day, and outs themselves as a unserious organization. The drama that will ensue is not for a real contender.
Karma will hit Lebron when he retires. He singlehandedly destroyed everyone's hard work who came before him. And worst of all, he thinks he's entitled to it. Everybody pays for their BS, sooner or later.
Whatever team drafts Bronny are some straight clowns. Unless they grab him undrafted, then sure. Bronny just isn’t that good, and if he was truly balling out, he sure asf would be a starter and not shooting below 50% and averaging bout a triple single.
Dejounte Murray is also a client of rich paul,I really think it's about him, won't be surprised if we see Fournier and picks go to atl for Murray,he is cost control
It has to be a special situation. Drafting Bronny could work but more than likely may not. It’s possible a team could be wasting a pick on a player that won’t turn out to be a good player while also damaging their team bringing Lebron in seeing what he’s done in the last two situations. Your front office better be strong and ready to stand their ground if they do ao
Watching both of Bonbon and li'bon play together in Jhina will be amazing! Shanghai Sharks need defensive accountability and who but Big bon lead the matador defensive play to victory
Honestly I would let him walk or just trade him. The lakers can do so much better than lebron at this point. He’ll make all these threats, but who cares? Let him leave. He’ll be the one who has to figure out where to live, where to go, where his family and businesses will go, and if he’ll be able to play with Bronny. I’m saying this as a bucks fan btw. Also the knicks would be stupid to get him. They have a good thing with Brunson Randle and OG. They just need another guy and they’ll be good.
Also this would be so dumb but imagine the team that takes Bronny(if that even happens) refuses to sign LeBron. I know that’s mean but it would be actually fucking hilarious
As a Lakers fan, I don't know how I feel about this. On one hand, I don't want the Lakers to trade Reaves or any picks because look what that did to the Suns, and I don't want Murray because I know he's not a true moving piece. I think if Lebron is going to re-sign with the Lakers, it'll be on a 1-2 year deal. I really wished this season would've gone better for the Lakers, but it just is what it is at this point.
Casey I’ve been following you before you hit 10K subscribers … are you turning into the main stream media??? always reporting on the lakers 🤷🏼♂️ Not hate just saying
