There really was nobody more perfect than Plant to stand in front of these guys. All them are equals and all had the same interests. It’s highly unlikely we’ll see another band where it’s members are this talented.
Here is why they were so cool. The sweater Jimmy is wearing was hand knit by his mom for his 26th birthday, the day of this show, so he wore it. LZ I & II were out, so there was plenty of money, but it was from his mom who always supported him!
Probably it was In My Time Of Dying at Earl's Court that was previously requested - this is an excellent choice too 😀 can't go wrong with anything Zeppelin.
The best reaction ever, BRO! 😂😂😂😂😂👍I, REALLY, LIKE WHEN YOU BECOME MAD, ABOUT A PART, AND YOU LISTEN TO IT AGAIN! TOO COOL! I DID THE SAME, WHEN I WAS YOUNGER! LISTEN LISTEN! I TRIED TO SHOW IT TO FRIENDS, OR GIRLFRIENDS, YOU KNOW! YEAH, LISTEN TO THAT, IT'S CRAZY ! 😂😂😂😂👂👍PEACE FROM FRANCE BRO 😂✌️💪🇫🇷🎸
Nice reaction, thanks. Echoing some of the other comments here, if you want elctric blues starting out slowburn, then a frenetic celebration of controlled, mad-ass chaos, "In My Time of Dying." (Studio for the perfect--and perfectly LOUD--drumming, live for the visual charisma of the band, especially Robert Plant, the singer) If you want just pure slowburn blues, then the also-ten minutes long "Tea For One." Jimmy's soft electric guitar licks will very quickly get on very intimate terms with your soul. You seem to know and like the blues, so im suggesting these two, among a dozen more that effortlessly spring to mind. This band had no bad songs, only ones that weren't quite as awesome as some others. You may know this history, but the above-mentioned IMTOD was based on "Jesus make up my dying bed," an old "Negro Spiritual" bvy Blind Willie Johnson. Rock on!
I've been watching and enjoying your Zeppelin album reviews, then caught this. Absolutely one of my favorite live performances. Since you enjoyed "Bring it On Home" from album ii, you'd likely enjoy the live performance of it from this same concert. Fabulous. In fact, the entire concert was fabulous. Just subbed and very much liking what I'm hearing. Thanks.
I just came across this reaction video, I was like whoa he gets it. This is my #1 favorite song and video concert of all time. Well only until I watch the Dazed and Confused from 1973 "The Song Remains the Same concert. You made a new sub out of me today. I'm going to start with your 1st reactions of Led Zeppelin to see how we got here. Thanks 😊
Early days and their clothes weren't so flash but their sound was powerful. I read somewhere that the sleeveless jumper Page is wearing was knitted by his Mum. I'm not sure if that's an urban myth or not.
You should listen to another track from the same concert called White Summer Black Mountain side. Its Mr James Patrick Page at his best. There is a vid of it on RU-vid and he's wearing the same tank top lol.
@@bobbyn.9773 he was 20 (just!) when they went on their 1st tour and recorded the 1st album, he was born august 1948 and iirc they formed in september or october 68
@@bobbyn.9773 They had their first meeting/rehearsal August 12, 1968, just shy of what would be Robert's 20th birthday on August 20th. They did their first tour as "The New Yardbirds" in Denmark in September and would change it to Led Zeppelin in October.
