If I may give you one huge tip (for source engine games) add to the launch options under the properties pane in steam for L4D2, CS:GO, HL2, TF2 etc the following line: *+fps_max 121* Make sure you disable v-sync in the game options and to uncap the frame rate in the Steam Deck performance settings. (it often needs to be turned off then on again to work during gameplay) If done correctly your fps counter should be in 100+ range during gameplay. It makes a huge difference in terms of how responsive the game feels and makes gyro aim al lot easier imo. If you like I could also share my settings and steam input profile.

@@zerocore_ thanks for the top as I understand this command increases max FPS to 120. Do you have universal settings for every game or you do have different profiles for each game?

@@Kaliniaczek1992 I make different profiles for every game. That’s mostly because mouse sensitivity values differ wildly per game. I basically start with either the Official layout if the developer made one for Steam Input, or if not, the normal ‘Gamepad’ profile from the template menu. Then I replace RS ‘Joystick’ setting with ‘As Mouse’ and do the same for the gyro. Yeah, I think the game will run great on a 4K TV. L4D2 and Half-Life 2 etc are such old games they run very smoothly even at high resolutions.

Look for my profile: the zero’s L4D2 gyro controls for steam deck. Read the description carefully. Set you mouse sense as low as possible in the game.

If you don't mind, could you link the config so I can open it directly on the steam deck?

Toggle gyro on with the press of the left track pad and it keeps the gryo on the whole time.

How do you open console command/text on the steam deck?

@@williamreichwein782 for chat or tean chat you have to assign them to a button in keyboard settings.

hard to say. What does the steam performance tab say? Are your GPU/CPU vlues really high or low? If they are low it might be that you accidentally limited the peformance of you STeam Deck through plug-ins like Power Tools for example.
