There were a couple the stood out to me - the one that was really impressive was Ben Rortvedt- his foot work was “text book” to third. JT Realmuto is so fun to watch And of course Yadier Molina because it Yadier Molina. I really didn’t spend much time examining the LKD vs RKD - I was more looking at the quick feet that they all generated impressive pop from lower half
Energy conservation.. deek the runner into thinking they have a chance.. As for specific knees.. right knee down (imo why I use it) is for comfortable throw downs.. and when I know my pitcher is going to throw something I need to block that breaks a specific way.. LKD for when I want to get low enough to steal the low ball strike.. But those boys up top do it for more reasons than that I’m sure..
