Hi there I have a question about you t6?!
@ExtraCrispy357
@ExtraCrispy357 11 дней назад
Hey Commander Gruggs! Another great review! I currently have "LionSteel Fever", so I'm building up my collection. My plan is to get the T6 and M7 with Micarta handles (because that's all they come with and I love Micarta anyway), but for the other LionSteel fixed blades, I've been getting them with the wooden handles. Maybe they're not as hard-use-durable as G10 or Micarta, but they are SO BEAUTIFUL and unique! The wood handles, the crowned spines, the leather sheathes - so classy! They are a joy to use, and, although LS doesn't make cheap knives, I feel like they are a great VALUE in terms of the quality of materials used and overall knife design, fit/finish, and the quality of the sheaths they give. Good point you made about the "Italians know how to make weapons - they've been doing it for a long time" - so true - back to the times of the gladiators and even further back! I also agree with you on not doing any major mods to my knives - makes me too nervous I'll mess it up! I always cringe when I hear people saying they're going to ''grind this part off' or send the knife over to so-and-so to do 'x'. I'd rather just buy a different knife that's more what I want than risk messing it up! Not sure if you have a review of this already, but another LionSteel for you to check out is their SR-11 folder with the integral titanium handle - one of my favorite folders and such beautiful milling! It has been out for a awhile now, but it's still available.

Great vid! I actually own the t5 and t6 which is in cpm 3v. They are great knivescand hold their own against a lot of my custom blades. Must make a correction. They are full tang not stick tang knives. They have what they call a solid Handel which is milled out of a solid piece of micarte which leads to the confusion about full tang and stick tang knife. Loved the vid keep up the great work! Oh my next knife is the m5.

Both knives are not full tang. The T5 features a stick tang, which is visible, while the M5 has a skeletonized tang.

The T5 has the Molly compatible sheath, but the M5 has no Molly capability. Still, I prefer the M5 because it doesn’t have the tops wedge and the entire spine is crowned. It won’t tear your batons up nearly as quickly.

They used k490 only on the first run of the T6. It can only be found on the secondary market now. They are only making the 3v version now, which is still a very tough and capable steel. I own the K490 version, the B35, and the M5. All great hard working knives. MKM TPF tactical fixie is currently owning my pocket. It’s a fairly recent acquisition, also my first Magnacut blade.

I onw some Lionsteel kinives (2x T5, T6, M3, H2 and M1) and they all really good knives. The T5 has the best handle, one of the best of all my knives (70-80), it's a great knife. The T6 especially in K490 is in my opinion one of the best allround outdoor knives (not to large, not to heavy, a really good steel, a really good handle and a good kydex sheath).

@achimgeist5185 the good thing is that Joe X does pretty much the same test based on what type of knife it is. Nobody expects to watch a Joe X video and not see the knife break. It's more about what it can take before it does which Intrigues us. When one doesn't break we are all in awe cos the guy mutilated knives for fun 😂🤣
