Yes, you just need to know when to tap out (and stick to it) to avoid injury/ over exertion. I've had times where I went too hard and had to skip working the muscle groups because I knew I was at risk of injuring them if I worked out
I always tell my mate he's only done until 2 more reps would literally take put him on a shirt. In essence, I always try to be 1 or 2 reps in reserve before racking
Seriously, if she's actually got a crush on a guy and is trying to get him to ask her out cuz she just needs to walk up and ask him out. Enough stupid fucking games... You don't want guys playing games with you so why would you play games with a guy.
This is how my wife got pregnant. Had some random guy spot her at the gym. Some say it’s not mine, I call it a miracle baby. Praise Jesus! Edit: Since reading all the comments I decided to leave my sister and not take care of the kid. Thank you guys!
Good spotter, pushed you further than you wanted to go. That’s where the gains live, just that little bit past where you want to comfortably go. A+ spot
Girl: Can you please stand behind me and look at my butt? Crush: That was good, but what you should do next is add more weight *Walks away without talking about anything but lifting*
Kind of but not exactly. “Gains,” if we use the colloquial definition of muscle growth, really are achieved from 1-5 reps in reserve, and pushing to or past failure has been shown in numerous studies to not have any tangible benefits
Did you all noticed how she touches his hand and how uncomfortable he looked after that? He kept it strictly on the form. Edit: that guy is either taken, not interested and/or shy about the stsged situation on camera.
I have a feeling he was completely oblivious to her choosing signals. 1 Maybe he was let down because she asked for a spot and not his number. 2. When she touched his hand he thought it was an accident nd thought he was in the way. These 304 are so afraid of rejection they miss out on a good man
@@rod1147 I bet he saw the camera and suspected she might be giving mixed signals to publicly call him out as a creep. I think most men have experienced this in one form or another. And some believe it's just not worth the chance.
I've never seen someone workout in a bikini top before. A sports bra yes, but that shirt looks like it doesn't offer support and can potentially lead to a wardrobe malfunction in the gym.
I see the same thing at my gym, but I usually use a spotter even for light weight. It's really just about how difficult the weight is for you. I'm a new lifter and I am *very* underweight so I lift very low weight for someone of my age and height (6'2). I also hide my twig physique pretty well so I sometimes get weird looks. I need a spotter when benching 115 and squatting 135 because it's just difficult for me.
@@relaxxed_ Not sure how old you are im 62 did start filling out till I was 22 at 5'9" 165lbs . At 20 150lbs . As you age you gain especially working more and missing workouts gained fat at 26 180lbs wished could've stayed at that weight.
Here to say if you asked me for a spot on the gym, this is what you’re getting. As for the hand touch, I used to black out when I squatted or dead lifted so I’d just assume you were getting after it and didn’t know where you were in space or time.
Hahaha you "didn't know where you were in space or time" that's when you know you've transcended from simple weightlifting into a whole different primal animalistic battle to the death with yourself.
Hey, that's good that he pushed you! :D I'm curious if the "backfire" part is what I initially missed where she tried to rest her hand on his (not positive if that was intentional) and he pulled away or just a reference to the regret of killing her muscles XD Cute interaction either way.
It backfired because he pushed her to do more than she was intent on doing In other words, she wanted you impress her gym crush, who’s trying to crush the gym
Nah, he sees the camera behind her. Every guy should avoid these influencer wannabes because it's a trap. You could get blasted online for "being a creep" or much worse for simple gym etiquette. Anyone recording in a gym needs to be banned for life.
@@StephenH1 Recording in a gym is fine. Sometimes people want to see their progress. I think what will fix this problem if they banned anyone that recorded in a gym, then made false claims about an individual or got mad when people walked past their camera in an open space. That would make people think twice.
I don't blame him because I wouldn't go within a mile of a girl in a gym, but his spotting sucked Edit: Lots of dumb people in the comments. Beware of trolls.
@@TheTwitchybird He was like 4 feet away. Look up a video on proper spotting for squats. If something happened, there's zero chance he could have helped.
So not only is this clearly fake, but if this girl seriously trains without pins in the squat rack, she should stop using the squat rack... There's no need for a spotter at all because of this, hence, fake.
@@channel-sanji When you set up In a squat rack, You set safety bars or pins along the side, So that if you can't actually lift the weight, The weight can slide down your back and land on the bars or pins. Whether you're a beginner or an elite lifter you should always use safety pins or bars. You just never know what could happen, And you only have one back at two knees, And one bad day or bad thought mid lift, or even just a spasm, could ruin your entire life if you aren't careful..
It was clearly accidental bruh. And she didn't even attempt it twice Y'all would go any lengths to justify men's sexual harassment. And why is it always an anime pfp
@@mehulagrawal5927Who is "justifying mens sexual harassment" here? And what exactly does that mean? Are you talking about men being sexually harassed, or are you talking about sexual harassment perpetrated by them?
Now for a minute just switch thier Genders and then this comment section would be filled with people accusing you of litrally harassing the person! That's how contrasting views people have when it comes to the same act performed by a woman or a Man.......
I don't get what he did wrong, a spotter is only supposed to help you push out the final reps that you otherwise would've failed on your own. She didn't fail any reps, so the title seems misleading
Девушки такие странные Сами говорят что к ним пристают мужчины, и при этом когда они хотят чтоб к ним приставали, парни ведут себя нормально чтоб не казаться домогателями И после этого парней называют тупыми
So you basically did a normal workout just like all the others do in the gym. Why post a video about it? For likes and attention? Is that really all that humans are about nowadays? Sigh…
Sigh? You are without a doubt the most dramatic and attention seeking person here. The type to sigh REALLY loud until someone asks you whats wrong. She asked her gym crush which is kind of a big deal and he pushed her harder than she would have gone otherwise. Thats not a normal workout that everybody does all the time. Also i feel like you sont know how social media works in 2024…
They’re actually pretty widely accepted as good lifting shoes. They’re extra flat and act like platforms cause they don’t have the same squish that sneakers have which is really bad for squats and deadlifts
@@siema14123 well fair, Im only a causal when it comes to lifting. It just strikes me as odd to have shoes made of fabric. It does not sound like it would give very much support. But apparently I was wrong 😊
I mean if someone is your gym crush you don't care if they can lift at all. They could be the biggest moron in the gym but if you have a crush on them it doesn't matter.
@@nomercy8989 a spotter is a spotter so yes I would pick a spotter that can spot and save the flirting for another time. Spotting is about safety not dating.
@@Lovelyforlife1 The spotter only needs to lift like 10 lbs, they’re there to supplement you, not take over for you secondly, visible muscle ≠ usable muscle Look up Anatoly, dude just looks like a slightly above average guy until he pops out a one-handed 300lbs deadlift
