January 1st ride on the Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic. Happy New Year to everyone and hope you enjoy the ride! #freedomrider #anywhererider #heritageclassic
Thank you for the nice comments. I enjoy doing them and glad you enjoy it. I just try to be myself and talk about things that may be of interest to motorcyclists and just regular guys like me. Thanks again and I really appreciate it. Ride safe.
I’ll halve to watch a lot of RU-vid videos of my UK and Australia buddies to figure out how to stay on the wrong side of the road before I ever try riding over the pond! Thanks for watching and have a great New Year!
Hello sir. Forget about social media except for RU-vid motorcycle videos. 30 minutes of Newsmax daily just to be aware. Check into it, its real news. I wish you good health and prosperity in the new year.
I’ve instructed my wife to keep up with the news and only tell me the non-depressing stories. So far there hasn’t been much to tell me. Ha! Thanks for watching and have a great new year.
I'm planning a ride to the beach this summer on my 2022 Heritage. Then to the smokies and maybe see Stonie. My daughter and I took a nice ride today as well.
Great to see you out and about on the heritage Classic. I agree with you and have limited my own television and phone app usage over the course of the past three months. I value my time more and more. Love the channel and am considering the heritage nine spoke or a Roadking as my next motorcycle. Currently ride and vlog aboard a Goldwing but look to move back towards a less tech laden bike. Happy New Year!
It’s always a tough call to get more basic motorcycles or go with all the new high tech models. I like the modern electronics and gauges but sometimes it’s probably too much. I love the Heritage - it has the best mix of technology like ABS and updated display without being too much. Thanks for watching!
Good to see you riding my friend. I was able to ride this year. Last year, different story. If you do run the Trace, let me know and I'll so my best to meet you there.
Was thinking of riding from Nashvillle to Shiloh this Spring. I am friends with anotherRU-vidr from Nashvillle who wants to go too. He is new and his channel is Anywhere Rider. He rides a nice Indian Springfield. I would love to meet you in person and ride together and see that awesomely cool Spyder.
I have a good friend who’s lives there too. He loves it but he grew up in Michigan and is really into winter sports. And he doesn’t ride motorcycles. I’m thinking I would get myself a snowmobile if I lived there! And thanks for the kind comments. Thanks for watching.
I plan on seeing the gulf coast this spring. Probably May. Looking for a low key beach. Any suggestions let me know. 53 is a nice ride. I remember when it closed years ago because the road collapsed in a mining pit. Enjoyed your video. Ride like your invisible.👍
I've been on that stretch of 53 many many times on my bike. I've recently moved to the greater Tucson area, so if you decide to do some riding out here look me up. In the meantime I'll continue to watch your videos and all the great roads in northern GA.
Hwy 53 in this area is one of my favorite roads. Dawsonville to Calhoun is a good ride. I’ll be coming to Tucson starting in January for the next 2 years. It would be great to get together for a ride. I’ve rented motorcycles in Phoenix before - not sure if I can in Tucson but I’ll check it out. I love riding out there in the winter. Thanks for watching and commenting!
So glad you remembered our ride! I’m looking forward to it! I was on a short ride down the Trace today! I’ll hopefully get some good video uploaded soon as a teaser! It’s a sweet ride full of Tennessee twisties!
I’m checking out 2-lane roads now to Nashville. I’ll probably end up on I-75 and I-24 getting there but I’d like to avoid as much of those super slabs as I can. I’ve looked at where the northern terminus of the Natchez Trace Parkway is and it’s not all that far from where my son lives. I’m looking forward to it! Can’t wait to see your videos too. Tennessee Twisties sounds great to me!
@@GARamblinMan I’m with you on that. Interstates can be a means to an end at times. But not the most enjoyable. I very nearly ended up in Florida these last few days. Had Ultimate Seats been open, I was on my way! We seem to think alike! Lol
We got out and had our first rides on the first day yesterday. Gonna get out again this afternoon and enjoy this weather while we have it. We reserved a cabin near Robbinsville for vacation in July, so we’ll ride all kinds of good roads. Good to see a video from you, hope you had a safe and happy holiday season.
Happy New Year to you and your family as well! Today was a rain out here in GA and it’s not looking good for the next couple of days. I may ride up to Robbinsville in July and ride the Cherohala Skyway with you. Robbinsville is only a little over 100 miles from my house. Take care!
Good to see you out. I am really enjoying my new Heritage and got out today for about 100 miles. You might want to consider the VAMM23 meet up in Tazewell VA. A lot of great motovlogers to meet face to face. Be well, be safe and Happy New Year.....Bob
I knew you would love the Heritage. It was nice today and a nice break from the deep freeze. I may try the Tazewell meetup sometime in the future. I’m not really into the big rallies and crowds but I know this is a nice area to ride. Thanks for watching.
Just didn’t need that much bike. I do love the Street Glide though - I would have both if my garage (and wallet) was a little bigger. Ha! Rode one in Arizona for a week a couple of years ago and had a great time. Thanks for watching and ride safe!
Happy New Year Mr Ramblin man. Good to see you out on the Heritage. I have not ridden since October too. Cold and wet here in the UK and likely staying that way until March/April. All the best.
It tends to be rainy and cold here from December until about March. Not too different from UK. We have been in a deep freeze lately though so it was good to get a warm dry day. All I can say is Hurry up Spring! Thanks for watching.
Have followed your channel from the beginning. Good to see you back in the saddle, wish I could say the same but 16 inches of snow & 10-foot drifts have kept the bike in storage for a bit longer, I think. Do you know what happened to NC Stoney's channel, when I go to it there are no videos? Hope all is well with him.
Thanks for the kind comments. Too bad about the snow. I just checked out Stoney’s channel after reading your comment and saw the same thing. I’ll check in with him and see what’s up.
As always love your videos. we have a lot in common. I live in North Georgia and I’m from West Palm Beach. I’ve ridden my motorcycle two time to West Palm. It’s a long ten hour ride lol
It’s a little too far for me to take on in one day. My old bones wouldn’t like that. Two days is very doable. Cumming, Ga to Jacksonville the first day and then Jacksonville to Stuart sounds good to me. I’m thinking maybe April. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@GARamblinMan I totally get it. Two days makes it easier. April is a great time of year cause it’s not in the heat of the summer in Florida. Either way it’ll be an awesome ride.
Happy New Year. Looks like a lot of us had good weather for riding. It was 76° here in N TX and we took advantage of it too. We don’t want to talk about that Packers-Cowboys game tho 😂 😂
Good thing about living in the South is even in winter we get these kind of days sometimes and we don’t have to put our bikes away for the winter. I’m more of a Cowboy fan than Packer fan, but bought the green jersey since I was in Green Bay. There were a ton of Cowboy fans at the game. The hotel I stayed in had a tour group from Dallas staying there Saturday night and it was a big Texas - Cowboy party that night. It was loads of fun, but I don’t know how they take that cold weather at Lambeau - it was freezing! Thanks for watching !
Btw: I had both Covid shots and two boosters. I’ve had Covid *three* times. Can you imagine what America would be like if the Polio vaccine “worked” as badly?
Yes - he told me he has been so busy at work he’s had no time for RU-vid and he got some less than kind comments on a few of his videos so he decided to take them down. I don’t blame him - why anyone would make a nasty comment to such a great guy is beyond me.
@@GARamblinMan Wow, that's really too bad. I looked forward to his videos and saddle wisdom. I hope when things slow down a bit he will make more content. It only takes a couple of rotten apples to ruin it for the majority of folks who have been following him for a long time.
Most everyone is a political expert these days for sure, but strangely couldn’t even name a local council member and have never attended such critical meetings, yet being actively involved. Yeah, but we know all about things at the top.
All politics is local as they say, but most people want to sit in front of cable news and rant and rave about Washington. I’ve checked out of that life. The talking heads on tv and on the internet may sound passionate about what they are saying but I think most of the just want ratings and $$. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Hello nice video👍 and a happy new year! I live in north thailand near Chiang Mai and i ride a Heritage 114 from 2019. Very nice bike! From 31.12.2022 - 03.01.2023 i no ride, becourse much danger terrible traffic. Maybe i wil start 04.01. ! Weather is nice in morning a bit cold, afternoon like 30° and sun. Sawadee Krap!
Thanks for watching. I’ve travelled in Asia before so I know how terrible the traffic can be in the cities. You have a great motorcycle and I hope you can get out on it soon! Thanks for watching!
