Awesome! Thanks for the shout-out. Great to see that my guy made it to you across the world. Hope that he'll serve you well. He's a relic from the halls of Warhammer world, so he must hold some magical powers. I like the hobby episodes! Vampire Counts are a great edition to the channel! Good triangle of unique playing armies with the orcs and dwarves! Also post all those painting updates to the Instagram!

Really nice looking skellies! Zenithal and glazes or contrast is a very effective way, especially for those skellies and zombies, but you certainly executed that very well!

The skeletons look great! Speed paint?? Damn, looks better than my slow paint.:! ;) They kina give me the vibe from jason & The Argonauts movie. :) Take your time with the stuff, make it fun to paint. I rather know you are enjoying it than rushing to get "new content". Man, I am gla for anything you post 8especiall Da Boyz!). Don´t feel you have to do this or that next week.. Enjoy, then we will enjoy! Right? :)

Definitely keep posting those smaller 1000pt games. For a lot of people getting back into the hobby is difficult because they have to repaint/repair 20 yr old armies, or buy new from eBay or Facebook market. 2000pt 6th ed collections seem very daunting for a lot of people, but 1000pt probably feel obtainable.

Mate those skelies look awesome - well done! I've been working on my VC army and probably spending 3 times as long on painting for about the same result! Nice ! We have the same 3 armies I believe mate (dwarves Greenskins and Vampire counts) nice to see some undeads rising for more glorious fights 👍 the undead lore is super deep and will give great narratives for fights agains dwarves or black orcs

Ah yeah..I was going ova an old white dwarf magazine 101 and one of the resident painters answering questions talked abow the slapchop method, he obviously didn't call it tht the process was exactly the same..(thinned the paints as contrast was not a thing back then) there's me thinking it was new but nah...newly marketed perhaps .. just thought I'd share my recently old discovery 😁

Third comment already, but what the heck? :D Really nice to see a Vampire Counts army coming up for the channel, it's one of my personal favourite armies of all time. Partly due to inspiration from this channel, I have digged up my own old Tomb Kings from over 20 years ago, I have around 1000 points, which I will mostly repaint for 6th ed and/or the upcoming Old World release.

Finally one of the "Good" Armies ^^ I'm a bit jealous about your Red Duke and Blood Dragon BSB - Those are the models still missing in my collection. I wonder if you're giving the combat phase in your VC army the name "the undead phase" - As they literally continue fighting till the last member. I'm thrilled to see your army being played. And - as I always suggest - try some of the wacky stuff at the end of the army book! And maybe try some Lamia? They're the least-played bloodline imho, but they'll definitely fit your narrative approach. Which is the MOST important thing in 6th edition.

Glad to see the progress Stos. Your Blood Dragon Count is from 5th BTW, the first VC book was released about 9months before 6th came out, 13 year old me was not happy when my shiny new book was invalidated. Think the BSB is from that release too.

Ah, cool! They feature in the 6th Ed army book, so I just assumed they were from 6th. Good to know dude!

@@rogueelementgaming yeah. 6th book is, in many ways, just Alessio Cavatore updating the 5th ed one (by Toumas Pirinen) to work in 6th's army composition rules and adding a new bloodline (Strigoi). By the time it came out most of the range was only about 18months old. They did nix all the special characters though, I was also /super/ jazzed that my expensive Melkhior the Ancient model wasn't usable as that character anymore (having been replaced by Zacharias) :/

the dwarf mini is 1 of 3 or 1 of 2 different Bugman mini you can get from Warhammer World, if your ever stuck for opponents just do list theory build lists what magic items you take why, what size unit why etc. always love listening to you dude

I agree on the photo - strip thing.. I am not too sentimental but a photo is easy. or w couple. But I also strip old stuff if I need them and can do better. it is history but rare models I rather make nice than have them look less decent. Yours are pretty nice though. :)

As always very nice video ! Havn't had the chance to go through all the comments but have a few questions : where do you find these models to build up these oldschool WHFB armies ? Also what do you think about "premium" unit fillers ? I think making and fielding epic unit fillers is what I miss the most about WHFB. Gives a lot of character and charm to the units, can be economically interesting and enhances creativity in the hobby. Keep it up Stos !
