Just finished watching coh play yakuza zero through 7. What a journey and this video is where it started.

man, cohhcarnage review of this game is the reason why I ever started playing this franchise.

This to me is the greatest franchise on Playstation. I am not even kidding. Been playing them since about 2008 and I get the most enjoyment out of these games than any other.

I wish an old man could walk up to me and give me the power to eat money for strength ;_;

Watching cohh play this whole series was amazing and possibly the best content iv had in a long time absolute legend love watching

Just this year this game has been my introduction to the franchise and it got me hooked. Moved on to Kiwami and for it being a remaster of the first game it really didn't disappoint. Next on this list is Kiwami 2 when I wanna take a break from premium adventure mode in Kiwami.

Hope it good. I always wanted Yakuza games to be good & especially hoping for a great storyline.

Cohh's usually pretty damn good at any game he streams, damn I've never seen him not pick the hardest difficulty, so I wonder how his early run ins with Mr. Shakedown will go 🤔

I feel like part of what makes these games so great is they know where to comprimise, rockstar are the kings of trying to make no comprimise games and it means you don't get many of them, its why there have been like a dozen yakuza games in the time its taken rockstar to release 2 gta games. They're willing to say "maybe we don't need a painstakingly voice acted and animated cutscene for every interaction. Instead they spent the resources adding things that genuinley make the game more fun. The series feels very grounded in the idea that video games are meant to be fun, to surprise and delight the player. Yakuza games also despite their sillyness have very serious stories and it almost makes them better for it. The silly minigames feel like genuine relief amoungst the heavy story, the characters being so serious and erest makes the sillly stuff more believable. Micheal from GTA V is so quippy and sarcastic that he feels above everything, even playing darts it feels like hes too drenched in irony to enjoy it. But with kiriyu, because he is a serious yakuza in a serious world, the idea that he might have a beatutif voice and enjoy doing kareoke feels more ernest. As silly as it is it almost feels less like a joke than when you run a triathalon as micheal in gta
