Agreed, but for future note, 24 hours is infact a severe lack of sleep. Not enough of a lack to cause those symptoms but still enough to cause a delay in thinking and microsleep events which are definitely not that severe (unless you are opperating machinery or a vehicle), but still signs of a severe lack of sleep.

24 hours is considered severe sleep deprivation and some people can start hallucinating. Considering this was a week of 20+ hour days and it is even worse. People don't realize that sleep deprivation is actually deadly and can kill even a healthy person if done habitually. A week of regular sleep deprivation is harder on the body than getting blackout drunk. People don't understand how important sleep is.

I was a court clerk and admin officer for several years here in the UK, I spent a lot of time in court hearings looking after witnesses, victims, Judges and barristers and talking to people on the phone who need help or support and it broke my heart to talk to so many men who wanted the abuse from their partners to stop but in the end wouldn’t see it through due to the fear of being shamed or ridiculed from others and law and court officials! Domestic abuse towards men definitely needs to be addressed so much more across the board! I hope you are both doing ok and I hope you don’t mind me saying this but I’m so proud of you for speaking up ❤
