Dire casually glosses over the fact you need a form of teleportation to get out of the dimension such as the charged porter. Kind of an Important item to have.
Ive also noticed in the new create rotating farms just sometimes stop like that? I started a server in the full steam update and had to reset my tree farm every so often, still have no idea what caused it
Knowledge that is already known, can be held onto to. As crafting any 9 of them into the next tier is still viable even if it is learned. Once you get enough Uranium Ore, you can craft 4 stacks of Uranium Blocks, and make a dimlet for blocks instead of ore, the cost to run is higher but an RFTools Builder can mine up all the blocks.
@direwolf20 I was browsing the jei and found "No Soliciting Beacon", it prevents spawn of some harmless annoying creatures........I think your traveling salesman problems are over!
You should make your next tinker's construct pick with a knightslime part for the Crumble modifier. It lets you break dirt and stuff way faster. You'll love it!
Hey Dire, cool idea for laserio: sneak right click to open opposite side from the side clicked. Also the ability to configure cards in hand and click/sneak-click them into a given side
RF Dimensions is pretty neat, but I don't like that the progress mechanics require you to either create a lot of dimensions and/or having to do a lot of searching around in a few dimensions, both of which require generating lots of terrain and thus eating up disk space. There's a reason it's almost universally banned on public servers.
Hey Direwolf how do you speak with such conviction and confidence and how do you always have stuff to say during your lets plays? I'm trying to make my own but it's mostly silence or me stumbling over my words
I'm guessing he does a lot of off-world testing in creative, to get familiar enough with the mods, and after you do this for a while, even if you forget stuff, you know your way around well enough to keep going anyway -- and when you pause, just pause the video and the clock timing your video length - and edit out the long pauses made while you thought about stuff
For one it is expirence. He has been doing this for, I don't know how many years. It's a genuine skill you need to learn. The basic concept is projecting your thought process. I remember I did some teaching for a bit, and trying to explain something as I'm writing it on a board and plan a step ahead is genuinely challenging. A lot of fun though. The only answer is really to just do it. You need practice, and you can only practice by stumbling. Stumble, walk, then run. Even confidence is a skill. "Fake it till you make it" doesn't actually apply everywhere, but it does here. Pretend to be confident, and over time you will train your brain on how to actually be confident. As well, when dire is recording he has a plan. Not a script, but a general idea of what he is going to do. So he isn't recording the downtime with nothing to say. That also means you don't see the downtime with nothing to say. But it happens off camera. You don't need to fill every second unless you are streaming. While I don't know much about that world, I think there the chat helps bring up topics of conversation. That's dire's style of talking, but not the only style. Some explain their thought process while playing, some discus other events happening, jokes etc. See what comes naturally to you. That will be what you enjoy the most, and by doing that the quality of your commentary will be better, and you will develop your own style. Best of luck, hope this gives you something to think about.
Take out the less rare knowledge so you only see the ones you want to see and make a mob farm using that hostile spawning grass to get the slime dimension essence
if you wanna soul shard endermen go to the warped forest in the nether, endermeen freeking everywhere i guess that or the end, but i found the nether to be quite useful with its many biomes, blazes came easy i found a nice already enclosed spawned and sat there and tick acceled it, but the wither skellys was a different story i kinda flew afound forts for a while killing them slowly until i found a withered biome and apparently witrher skellys spawn natty here so that went much quicker, i also have a ghast spawner by going to the quarts flats, omg the ammount of ghasts that spawn there is almost too much, but now i have teir 5 soul shards and let me twll you they spawn quick so you better have that redstone sig ready wich is really useful i must say, you jsut click it on for a min and boom stacks of blazerod
With Create 0.5 version you can build trains Cool. Because you get Endermen popping and out of your area does your Modpack have a item/block to stop them from doing that ?
Anyone know if there is a way you can easily create dimensions in creative mode? I want to test out making dimensions in a test world but I cannot seem to figure out a way to easily get specific dimlets.
@@georgematejak6989 i actually used 2 builders to transfer fluid into 2 large areas under my base and then did the create method ... so I don't need to keep any RFTools DIMs powered
If there is dimension that is really laggy. I think you shouldn't push your luck. I didn't play with rftools that much. But I pretty sure that random dimension could generate boss here and there.
Yup, I know of a mod pack which required you to make an ender dragon dimension to progress. Although I think that in these blank worlds, there is a lower chance of a crazy (legendary) modifier spawning. (Also, Dire should figure out what block was causing the lag and ban it from the dimlet list.)
