The alfsteel thingy is not pulling from the pool with the dominant augment, because sparks with dominant augments don't pull from each other (otherwise you would get loops). It's pulling from the other five pools as they are getting mana from the wither flowers.
dire something to note, remember that the gaia uses an active beacon. You can make continue building it underground and add the healing area to give you a better chance
The beacon's abilities are disabled during the fight, so that won't help. One thing I've found that does help is you can make the Botania incense and have several potion effects at once. In fact it lasts long enough you can do several fights before they run out.
If you see this, Dire, the 1.9 update of the pack that came out yesterday breaks AI in Minecolonies. I had to revert to 1.8 and restore a backup because my entire (huge, awesome) colony broke. I don't know if it's something specific that happened to Minecolonies in the update or if the act of updating broke something, but it definitely broke.
Fun fact: the easiest way to put your items on the agglomeration ritual is to right click each item onto the plate......or easier still make the block version from the addon mod, automation is a little wonky but it is simple to manually use.
dire: when u are trying to make ur runes. use the plus button in the wireless crafter to get all the item u need, so u dont have to write to get item 1 by 1. its faster :)
I love the image of the Gaia Guardian spawning in and then immediately getting gunned down by turrets on all sides. (Might admittedly still take some time due to GG's limits on how much damage it will take at any given time, but still.)
Ocean Monuments Gurdians deal "magic" damage which bypass Armor. So unless the armor is energy-based completely-immune (eg. Dragonic), I don't think they help the fight against Guardians.
Las I had seen Dire, there's a visual bug where the sparks don't stop doing their animation at max speed/intensity. From what I've noticed, it's related to the augments, like the recessive augment.
It's possible that it might drain the flowers faster if each flower had its own mana collector. Like perhaps the mana collector has a limit of how fast it can intake mana.
Dire does everything on such a small scale it's no wonder everything takes forever, my "mana battery" is a 25x25 area being filled by 12 of the nether star generating flora. No matter what I make it take half a second to craft
I’m really sad Ender IO is skipping 1.18.2, but at least that means we’ll probably get to see Dire play with Ender IO in his next series after this, depending on when the update comes.
Dire's Laser IO does everything Ender IO conduits ever did. I've been playing with it a lot in this pack and it's pretty much a spot-on replacement. Give it a shot if you haven't had the chance yet.
22:00 Hmm, it seems that the tables have turned, huh? Nasty Mobs are fun, it's not difficult or anything like that, you can choose and control on how to deal with them... That's what they said... :v
Not really sure if it’s just on my computer, or if it’s the modpack, but for some reason, if I’m in the nether for too long, after a bit of time in the nether, entities freeze and I can’t interact with anything. I’ve tried leaving it to think for an hour or so, but nothing fixes
Where the Elves kicked back the Ender Pearls instead of just consuming them as free goodies with no trade? Yeah, I wondered about that myself. Doing some googling... ha! Botania changelog for r1.7 215 reads: "The high council of Elven Garde, after having received countless unintended “gifts” of unenchanted Iron Ingots, Diamonds and Ender Pearls from unskilled skim-reading botanists are now returning those back to the senders." That's hilarious. (But also note that anything else, they apparently still keep.)
