when it comes to oil , I think nothing beats buildcraft's oil geysers. I just wish they would make a come back, building oil rigs in the middle of the ocean was the highlight of my playthroughs

23:20 dont forget that the laser base can be given efficiency and processing upgrade. The tier 2 processing upfrade in the laser base would TRIPPLE thenoil production!

The industrial drill's can actually do 54 drills in a cube around the base, so 3x3 on all sides -including above it and below it - they get super fast with all the addons :D

You can actually have a 3x3x3 on each side. They work without a gap to the drill base and through each other the only problem is powering the middle ones. Draconic was great for powering all the drills

You could also put 9 more drills on top and 9 at the bottom... they can also be placed one further away and still work iirc, so that'd be 25 per side instead of 9. And I'm not sure this works, but I _think_ you can stack them so you'd have a 5x5x5 cube of drills with the laser in the center for 124 drills on one core. You'd have to potentially phantomface their power, or use some other wireless power setup

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: RFTools Dimensions is one of the best mods. Always consistent, but with logical changes from version to version which keep it fresh and interesting. Oh, and it's totally OP, lol. 😅 And again for Industrial Foregoing: one of the best mods I've ever used, etc. Love the modmakers, for they are Gods.

RFTools dim has some kind of liquid absorber, at least in the old versions it was possible to create dimension from ANY liquids in the pack (I remember that it was possible to make very strange dimension from liquids without textures and everything was in purple squares - this world lagged a lot))

dire, you should make a mana ring for your mana tablet, it only takes four mana steel and your tablet and it keeps the mana in it when you craft it but it allows you to wear it in a curio slot instead of taking up a slot in your inventory

Maybe one of these days, Dire will remember how his own mod works. It's so cringe watching him waste laser nodes when he can just sneaky mode the modules lol.

I fear that dire doesn't realize how important the fortune tomb is, it allows you to increase the level by one yes, but It allows you to go one level BEIOND!!! Normally you can only get up to fortune 3 but the tomb will let you get fortune 4. I'm not sure if you can upgrade a book with it but if you can you will be able to have a permanent fortune 4, not sure if the enchanter will allow you to add it though

Why is the phytogenic insulator hold 72 stacks per slot thats kind of weird

fortune III only gives 2.5 diamonds on average. the induction smelter from thermal, on the other hand, will give about 4.5 on average if you supply it with cinnabar as the catalyst. people don't see this because in JEI it only shows the yield being 1. but there's a 50% chance of getting another. and then the cinnabar boosts both primary and secondary by 3x. so you're getting at least 4 from every single ore block. sometimes you get 5, and rarely you'll get 6. (1 x 3) + (0.5 x 3) = 3 + 1.5 = 4.5 but also = 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.5 so in total, you have three chances to get the secondary, but the first two chances add up to always give at least one secondary. in real life the percentages wouldn't add up like that, but in minecraft logic they do.

So even with Fortune III you can still get 1 diamond apparently based on watching the first try? So its still a random number, inside of a range, chance? Why take all that effort if Mekanism spits out a solid number every time, and a VERY high number at that with the enrichment factory?

When it comes to mekanism power cables, you should not allow them to connect in a grid like that. Disconnect touching cables that don't need to touch. Every connection is an additional series of calculations the cables will need to do and well get out of hand quickly. This is a great way to introduce lag to a server.

i am not sure voiding those saplings is a good idea... because with all 4 being nothing but logs, won't it void every sapling it produces now? a 2x2 drawer with a void upgrade should be a better use instead of the trash can

honestly now that cyclic is in the pack you could use quark to get a fortune 4 pickaxe and use the miner. Could also look at using a silk touch quarry / laser drill setup to get alot more ores then you need this way.

Everytime Dire uses the Time in a Bottle to x16, it sounds like the Addams Family theme to me XD

it's not the maxed out laser drill setup, you should search for a guide on how to set it up properly if you're interested

To completely max out a laser base: Each side of the 6 sides of laser base you can put laser drills in a 3x3 (no air gap required and does not need to see void/nether) Due to some of them overlapping the math is: 3x3x3 - 1 (1 Base, 26 drills surrounding it) From there you can add 3x3x2 (18) drills on each side. 6x18+26 = 134 total laser drills per base to completely max it out. I know because ive done it. You need entangers to power the ones in the center.
