Having one altar for LP production, and another for usage, sounds like a good idea. Now Livestreaming at: dw20.live/tw Follow me on Twitter: dw20.live/twitter
dire I think it says in the book that each acceleration rune increases tick speed by what amount , also Having capacity runes in the sacrifice altar isn't that necessary since you're extracting the blood out of it anyway
yeah I always thought the displacement runes were just when transferring blood into the blood orb its self ( like when you place the orb into the alter ) I THINK, its been a while since I have played blood magic, so it could have changed
Hey, Dire, thanks for checking out the manual! I'm going to go over it and re-write some bits about Weak Blood Shards, the t4 altar, and tau fruit, to hopefully make it a little clearer! I hadn't considered the path you followed, so hopefully this'll help other people too. :) - your friendly manual-writer
The trick with crafting the runes is to do the recipes that DON'T use an orb in the normal crafting process. Then you can fit all the other recipes in the RFTools crafter including the ritual and master ritual. I think you also need to use andersite or something different to stone in the speed rune otherwise it conflicts with the sacrifice recipe (that is from memory but I know 2 conflict)
V important to put an orb in the blood alter under the well of suffering. Each time the well hurts a mob, it consumes LP in your network. You get back more LP than you spend, but it needs to go into a bound orb to wind up in your network. To automate slates, easiest way is just to pipe stone into the altar when altar is empty, and pipe out into a 2*2 drawer with a storage downgrade, drawers locked to the different tiers of slate. You eventually wind up with one stack of each.
So how many episodes exactly are we going to ignore this Fungus problem Dire has? there are literally mushrooms everywhere! Magic tower... base in both floors... mob spawner... maybe see a doctor or something?
It is the endermen that escape from his mob farm. They teleport away, wander around his base and put down the mushrooms they grab. He just needs to put something near the farm that can block their teleport ability.
I'd say I can't believe he keeps missing the 5 blank runes he still has on the "back" of his main altar's Tier 3 ring... but it's Dire. I absolutely can.
If you use a tank at each alter and transfer between them you do not need to use any capacity runes on either alter. And you can control everything by measuring the tanks and not the alter themselves. If there is a way to make ender tanks hold more you could also use them and not have to LIO from tank to tank. I wonder if you could use liquid storage from refined to do the same.
You've already solved any buffer problems with the tank so throughput is your optimum value, basically you want to maximize the amount of life force you can generate per operation while staying just ahead of it on the output to the tank.
I haven't watched yet but I assume he goes with LIO to move the blood from sacrifice altar to orb altar, be interesting to see if it works, I assume with 9 cards it will, but I swapped to Ultimate Mechanical pipe before I worked out 5 of the transfer runes (dislocation?) are nowhere near enough to keep the orb filling while running the regen and suffering rituals.
3:50 RFTools Crafters have speed option on them. It is set to slow (the snail button below) by default and you can set it to fast. This makes it so it crafts every tick rather than once in 10 ticks.
Dire. Why do you not put a pattern terminal in your basement, next to the crafter multiblock? It would save you having to jump between floors all the time? You only ever have one on your system and it baffles me to have the inconvenience. Especially when you were working on the PneumaticCraft stuff.
i would take half of the capacity runes on the killing alter and replace them with displacement because if its pulling out quick enough you shouldn't need extra capacity
huh, pretty sure i was trying to do the rftools crafter trick in an atm6 world as this is helping me get into modded fully even if i knew a lot before hand (lots of new and old stuff i didnt know how worked) the day or two before this was uploaded. suppose i can go back into the world with that knowledge now, was trying to do infernium/prudentium/etc. type stuff thru my RS system
Hey Dire this is completely off topic and probably the wrong place to post this but, any chance you'd give terrafirmgreg a chance? It's a fun challenge pack that no body has really done an English let's play of.
The ones in the BM essence farm? Nope. Actually that’s what you want because you have a constant supply of essence because the witches heal themselves faster that the ritual harms them. Put name tags on them all so they can’t despawn and you have an infinite source of essence.
Thought the same thing. The easy fix would be too just move the altar. But then the ritual and mob room would be off center. The best way aesthetically would be to move the mob farm, ritual and altar over 3-4 blocks.
hey, blood magic's pretty fun, it's got a lot of cool stuff in it! (That maybe he'll use, some time soon... I haven't seen him play with anointments or flasks yet!)
@@bostanimuss9943 it is implemented, but Dire will have to do the Big Boy Dungeon Ritual and do a *lot* of dungeon delving before he has the 4 blocks of Hellforged Metal that it needs now.
