Really nice review, unfortunate price for the IEM, but I still like what I'm hearing. Also I'm one of the weirdos who really likes the industrial aesthetic of the shell and faceplate :D
If Letshuoer would have priced this more aggressively in the $200-$250 range this iem set would have a much better chance success. There is too much competition in planar land and at the $330 price point, regardless of the driver(s) tech.

As for your question, i havent tried much iems under $500 so cant really speak sadly. But if you want a warm sounding relaxing iem then the s15 is really good for the price even though a bit expensive.
i like S15 but this thing shouldn't be more then $200-$230 Max for $330 you can get Thieaudio Hype 2 and for just $70 more Hype 4 and that lack of sub Bass really needs a Fix and yes if you have IFI product or you know how to EQ you can kinda do that but nothing beats it if the IEM has this tuning to begin with i was thinking of getting S15 but ended up going for S12 Pro and Hype 4 but damn S15 is so comfortable you can even lie in bed with them and won't hurt your ears the shell is very nice
hello, thanks for stopping by. 🙂 Although i have not heard the hype 2 or hype 4 i can still say that the iem is a bit expensive. Other than the price the s15 is so good, and as you said its so comfortable. After testing quite a few iems i have understood one thing, no matter how good an iem sounds its nought if it isnt comfortable. S15 is so comfortable that i almost forget sometimes that i am wearing it. I really hope these do go down in price so that more people can try this. Yes the fix with eq and go blu is quite good, but i absolutely get your of having to use eq for fixing some issues. Some people who loves eq-ing should definitely give this a try.
yes the soundstage and imaging is quite meh for the price (although surprisingly quite a few people love that in head feeling). But the overall tonality is really good + comfort. But yes i do get as to how it is not acceptable that it needs a bit of eq or in my case using an ifi go blu to sound the best.
