Race to be the first expedition to reach the Pacific coast in Lewis and Clark: the Expedition. A euro-style racing game with worker placement and hand and resource management, designed by Cédrick Chaboussit with art by Vincent Dutrait and published by Ludonaute and Asmodee.
In the video, I'll explain how to play the game, teach the solo, play through a full solo game, and give my review.

Oh my goodness! So glad I found this on bgg! RU-vid didn't show your result when I looked up "Lewis & Clark board game". It started giving me weird suggestions. Don't know if there's an issue with the tags on the video. Anyway, so relieved to see this. Other videos are shaky cams (I get virtual sickness badly) and almost all for the first edition. This will help put it to the table faster. Thanks again!

I'm glad I was able to help! The biggest difference is the fact that you gather time tokens when you make camp, which represents all of the people and gear you're lugging along on the expedition. I think this works well mechanically and thematically, compared to the old version which had you moving backwards.

Maybe I have missed something but around 20:00 when you recalled the natives, the opponent has not moved forward.

Are you really allowed to boost cards by more than one card? I thought it is one card AND up to two natives!?

I agree - the second edition rules allow a maximum activation strength of three - using only ONE character card and/or indians....??

What's the reason behind discarding time tokens, how do you go about doing that?

In the first edition you actually moved backwards based on overloaded resources and meeples, but that was thematically weird. Now you gain time tokens when you rest, based on how overloaded you are (excess resources, meeples, and cards in hand). Then, next time you want to move forward, you have to spend a movement for each time token to get rid of them before you can make progress.
