Additionally, if you add reel oil to any new reel it makes the operation a lot smoother. I find that more budget combos tend to not be oiled very well. You will see a huge difference in performance.

Great combo. Love the good drop down distance from the handle to the bail. Will get me one for sure.

Yea the distance is really good and leaves plenty of room to move you hand around.

Bought one for $69 at Academy today. The sales guy showed me several (Ugly Stick, Lews American Hero, Lews Mach Smash) and he really felt for the money that the Laser TXS is a good buy. It looks awesome and the reel is buttery. I'm not trying to catch Moby Dick with it! I'll put it through its paces next week when I get a chance to use it. Great video thx!

Is the Quantum your favorite still? I will say the Academy combo looks a lot better. Now I want to return mine Xfinity and go to Academy lol.

So right now the quantum is still my favorite, because I haven’t fished with this one enough to get attached. I have an upcoming video ( most expensive Walmart put together combo) that might change that. I’ll probably roll it out tomorrow.

I’ve had it almost 8 months and it still works great. I’m about to do a challenge video between this combo and the xfinity from Walmart. It is basically the same combo just made for different big box stores. I’m my opinion this one looks better other than that there are the same.

@@ronporter3885 no problem hopefully you can get in on it, there are some really good higher end Lews combos marked way down too, I had my eyes set on the Mach crush spinning combo it was marked down from $179 to $145.

The Lew's Lazer looks the same thing as the Lew's Xfinity 🧐 what us the difference between the two. One extra bearing or is the winn grips are different. The same thing nothing different Walmart is cheaper. Like the Brit winn on my rod and reel I'll clean 🪥 it very easy to do. Got the Brit yellow Lew's Xfinity I've never had a problem with the hook keeper on the back got 5 rods like that 🤔 like it. I don't want dark 🌑 nothing on my rods no more 40 years is a nuff said about Gray and black on rod's.

Rile fisherman don't need fancy stuff at all just saying they just catch fish with the minimum amount of money. I don't think that more money means more fish in the boat os bank fishing. People I see but all kinds of stuff and don't use buy 10% of there baits.
