They are getting their jobs done. Entertaining and energizing the crowd. They do it well. Do wish a bit more appreciation for the drummers had been shown too. But that's something their team/band mates can do for them too. ♡
This band is amazing on every level. I lived near Liberty and would hear them practice. I appreciate their talent, skills, and precision when performing. Loved watching the video! Great job to all!
Thanks for your reply and ❤! Are you in the band, the instructor or a faithful supporter? I just love how we can work together and be a "team"... its a wonderful feeling to work with others and create victories along the way. God bless! Lynne🍃💜🍃
This is the most I’ve ever seen cheerleaders interested in band You know, now that I come back to this it was probably because it was the dead of winter around 39 F with a wind chill of 32 F. And that the brass on my sax was so damn cold I couldn’t exactly focus on the cheerleaders.
Hey I’m in this video! For anyone wondering we usually practice a couple times a week, and build off of the previous routines by adding a couple new moves. It’s really easy to learn to, as long as you practice with your hands first! Last game of the year we teach it to all the band seniors and cheerleaders and dance team
I'd say that program is well funded, and all those bones are identical and provided by the school, right? They appear to be intermediate or pro models, although I suppose they could be nice looking open wrap F-attachment horns that are actually Chinese, and a lot more affordable. Can you tell us the model? P.S. NICE WORK
@@ajbfwb Would like to add that they're not provided by the school (except for maybe low income families), but most people pick up the same beginner instruments in middle school and either stick with those for high school marching band (especially if they get a second horn for concert playing) or just rent a different instrument if they've been renting a horn.
@@Aaron-cs3xl Yep, as a trombonist that went through the school programs, then on to college and a pro career, I'm well familiar with that whole scenario.
That Headchoppers Trombone line takes real skill. Notice their ability and that their absolutely in sync with each other. That takes practice and trust in your fellow trombonists. These teenagers have what it takes to take any other line of tromonbists down for the count.
So well, I guess we all live and learn. 2 year old video that got into the recommended algorithm. Comments were set to approve only :) So I sent them all through(well most of them). Glad you enjoyed the routine. Here's one of them blindfolded: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WgszES7bYvA.html
I think that's what we love about it. my daughter is in this one and we watched her do about 20 of these live in her highschool years. Including blindfolded. /nervewracking
I love how hyped the cheerleaders were for this. Also, they have sick band uniforms!!! They look comfy and easy to move in. Wish mine were like that in highschool.
Just thinking about how many Freshman black eyes happen every year learning this routine - or how many they accidentally cause. This is real good and best part is - the band is doing their thing with the cheerleaders clearly being supportive and the crowd is cheering also. You don’t always see that - great job trombones!
that's just what this school's trombone line call themselves, the Head Choppers, that's not what they call the movement. The Head Choppers are doing suicides
stellar all around- from the incredibly well rehearsed and talented trombones to the hella clean playing of the drums and the cheerleaders being hyped and having fun
Showed up in recommended. RU-vid is weird that way. But I just gotta say this is incredible. I can't even begin to imagine the practice and patience this must have taken for these guys to pull that off!
Wow, this was amazing to watch. It reminded me of when I was a percussionist in my high school marching band. And although we did marching in formations at football games, we did nothing like this precision drill. Then again, I never saw so many trombonists in a marching band before. Thanks for posting this.
I played trombone...I would've been banging against everything...I've never seen this with the instruments. Usually the percussion section showing out!! Awesome!!💙💙💙
Man, I miss my band. It was huge, around 100 of us, and the crowd was always so hype during home games (students especially). Competitions were SO fun.
