They did something similar in the beginning of the hellfire scenario in outbreak file 1. Subtle and didn't cue any camera change so it was that much better.

@@PackRunner3 Nah the one in Outbreak was too slow it ruined the element of surprise. The version in RE2 was a "blink and you'll miss it" scene. You think you saw something move but you're not really sure because it was really fast that you think it was just your eye playing tricks on you.

The beta licker can be easily distinguished from a standard licker due to the Beta licker having a thick uniform neck that seems to connect with the top of the head while the standard licker (In RE2 remake and original) has a more humanoid neck

I'm surprised they never did like an intelligent Licker, like a Licker King or Licker Alpha. Like, imagine running through an Umbrella Lab, running into all these different Licker variants. And then you find one that's standing upright, and talks. And all the Lickers in the facility obey his commands. Bonus points if he has a cool deep voice or English accent!

The Licker in the first RE film was an Advanced Licker. A larger, faster & more aggressive version of the Lickers. And of course Uber Lickers are even more advanced. Too bad we saw little to nothing done with the badass massive Uber Lickers.

In the first movie they show umbrella injecting the T-Virus directly into a rabbit. I always told myself the Lickers came from fluffy bunnies.

Minor mistakes. There is no 'E-Virus': merely a strain of the T-Virus named 'epsilon'. And the lickers you showed for the Licker-Betas were from RE2 Remake, which were, in fact, just the normal lickers. Licker-Bs only appeared in Resident Evil 5 and RE Degeneration, although the latter had Plaga implanted in their brains. Good vid, just minor nitpicky mistakes.

@Billy William Usually plagas are divided into 2 sub-species, dominant and submissive. A host can be implanted with a dominant plaga that enables them to control the lesser plaga at will. This is explored in RE4 and the animated film RE Degeneration. It allows for any plaga compatible Bio-Organic Weapon to be more effectively controlled.

Some lizards have incredible hearing, and no lizard has ears. Those lumps of malformed cartilage on the sides of your head aren't what you hear with, it's some bone pieces in the flesh of the hole.

most of the human ear is useless skin and unusable muscles, residues from past evolutionary stages, but yeah, they'v should of added a design feature on the lickesr that empathized their great hearing, maybe long floppy tissues of flesh hanging for the sides of the head that extend or open when they listen to something, membranes similar to the ones the dilophosarus on from jurassic par has.

@ He turned into a zombie I would assume so. The zombies in resident evil came from the T virus and the Lickers are also from the T virus not the G virus. So I guess. I mean I always think they were zombies but I guess some people might not.

Sure it's mutated from a human but a zombie is a reanimated human corpse without a heartbeat ( clinically dead ) and thus has a human body design because a zombie is technically a human but licker though made from a human being has its body completely mutated into another kind of looking alien - like creature . A zombie doesn't have that much modified body a licker has . Though licker is infected with a zombie virus , I don't really think it's a zombie. It used to be a human but now it's not at all not even physically unlike zombie 's body .
