I think Rockstar removed it because they probably didn't fit in the story Or Rockstar likely removed it because it wold convince male players to cheat on their girlfriends or wives.

The Revenge ending is canon, as he’s alive in 2013 at the end of the GTA V storyline.

i think the deal ending is the canon one, it has so much more depth and it feels so much more sad and real, Roman dying is a big deal because he was with us all the game, in missions and outside missions, in the other ending they killed of a character that they barely used for like 5 missions and it just doesn't feel that much like a loss, also, you get more money with deal and you get to see Dimitri die in the Statue Of Liberty, even tho its sad, thats the ending i choose because the other is just off, i dont feel anything after seeing Kate die.

@@alexfons3667 True, I personally agree with that. The Deal ending had much more weight and fit the overall darkness and tragedy of the game. Still, R* decided that Niko works for Roman as a cabbie in 2013, and that he and Roman are supposedly investors in various businesses as well as still being friends with Jacob and Brucie.
