@@whysoseriousz306 Dude. You're either trolling or you're braindead 😂. Vikings were not overblown bodybuilder types, they were RAIDERS who relied on covering ground in quick movements, by land and sea, and in various conditions. I haven't seen a "big" human being who can do that as opposed to one that's well-rounded physically.
Sometimes at age 34 I feel like it's too late to start something new. Seeing these absolute beasts at 55 and 48 is so motivating. The future is bright!
“Every man has two lives, and the second starts when he realizes he has just one” - Confucius. Start incredibly small and show up every day. You'll see your life change into ways you've never expected. The time is now brother. You got this
Such an inspiration to see someone who is a hardcore academic yet is well rounded physically and mixes so well with a plethora of people. Gone are the days of the frail n pale nerd stereotypes.
A well rounded man, A Socrates of the modern day. It is a shame for a man to grow old without knowing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.
Thanks for pointing that. I don´t know when in history did western culture starting to make men think that being strong physically and well cultivated and academically astute were mutually exclusive. Hopefully I see a shift in trend, a increasing number of younger " nerds" are fit as hell, do MMA, Jiu Jitsu, run, ruck, cycle, hunt, do kettlebells, are in the gym etc. And I think the Joe Rogan era had a lot to do with that along with Cam, Goggins and Hubberman to name a few.
Wild to see Huberman finally reveal his ink. He purposefully wears the black long sleeved shirts to hide his ink. He's thought people wouldn't take his science seriously if he was presenting research with his ink on display. I knew his lower arms were inked but had no idea the extent of ink on his upper body. All around great video.
@@pathologicaldoubt He's on TRT at a replacement level. Basically, he's at the range of a 25-year-old dude. But it still takes work to be in shape. Plenty of 20-year-old dudes in terrible shape.
the problem with test is that people just inject without researching the side effects and optimal doses for them, thats why they fuk up their health , i believe he knows what he is doing @@pathologicaldoubt
Huberman is a total inspiration. Brains and brawn, at 48! Now im super motivated to go carry a heavy ass rock up a mountain. Cheers guys for this episode, was quality.
Cameron Hanes wins all the awards this year for getting the photos/videos of Andrew Huberman without a shirt and showing him in his best form. Way to make everyone's day including Andrew Huberman's. And the conversation you all had in the podcast was just awesome. Well done. Seriously you win in all the best ways.
Viking Academic Athlete Professor talking mustalids and mitchondria after carrying a heavy as boulder up a hillside. What a man, and what an authentic, true inspiration. So Admire Him!
The end of the podcast where he says this Lift, Run, Shoot day has forever changed his life was powerful. One of the most legit compliments I've ever heard.
Dude... at any point he could have said fuck it and dropped the rock, and none of us would have blamed him at all, but he freakin chugged on through the whole damn way. Absolutely insane. Huge motivation.
On behalf of women everywhere thank you for giving Dr. Huberman the rock 🪨 that lead him to take his shirt off ❤🔥 but on a serious note loved that the whole time he was talking about science, he's made being a nerd cool. Repect 💯
I’m a single woman of childbearing years and I never have heard a man so intelligent over the last few years and then to see him perform these physical feats just wow! Not to mention he believes in God and seems to be figuring his faith out as well. 🤯 he has helped me with my depression, PTSD, and panic attacks. This man encompasses what I believe a man should be mentally and physically. Saving this video for later… What a beautiful human.
I ´ve been following Andrew´s Lab pod casts for quite a while now, seeing Andrew in this good shape gives him even more credibility and authority. You can be a scientist and not loose contact to your physical being. One of the best episodes. Deep respect.
Honestly, it’s not impressive in the slightest. It’s sad that people are so unhealthy that someone who is actually in shape is viewed as somebody who is so rare and intelligent when the reality is that everyone should look like this because it only takes like 20 minutes a day of exercise to look like this.
@J05Hization what is dishonest about this I promise you you couldn't work out for more than 20 minutes straight try to do bodyweight squats for 20 minutes straight and let me know! If you did 20 minutes of body weight squats Monday and then 20 minutes of push-ups Tuesday 20 minutes of flexibility Wednesday and you did this every single day for a different muscle group you could look way better than him if you do this 5 days a week every week for 10+ years. Facts. I look absolutely jacked like I'm on gear but I've never weight trained only doing push-ups pull-ups and bodyweight squats. It's about CONSISTENCY.
Huberman is 48, Hanes 55..amazing humans. The physical and mental strength is unique. I am a 48 yr old, train 4-6 times a week but not on their level. Great to see fellow old guys breaking a sweat and doing intense workouts. thanks for sharing.
It's so funny how Andrew can't help himself but educate others at all times. At the bow rack... "so your brain actually does the math right, and what happens is..." Such a cool dude.
Andrew is just a top guy in my books. Super smart, excellent educator, looks after himself, tries new things and always kind and polite in his manner. I have learned a lot from his podcast and i thank him for all his efforts.
It is adorable to see so much enthusiasm from Huberman over the carvings on the rock. If I could pick one person living to have a conversation with it would be him. So much knowledge and personality in one person
I love how Andrew Huberman can turn anything into a teaching moment, he comes across as such an interesting and genuine person, was so cool to see his tats too, I was always wondering what he had hidden under that black shirt
I haven’t even finished watching this and I have newfound respect for this man. How many professors do this? I would think none other than him. He really practices what he preaches. He is the real thing. G-d bless Andrew Huberman!
I’ve watched as many of these as I can remember and this was my favorite one. He genuinely had the best damn experience with Cam. So inspiring. Man I’m thankful for these people.
Huberman is beast! You see him in post cast and only see facial expressions then you see him in the wild and he is a beast! Respect him even more for taking the rock all the way! Say im gonna do this and do it!
Love when humble meets humble. Two icons just keeping it real and not boasting about their accomplishments, yet we all know they’re complete badazzs.. funny how that works.
I really appreciated Andrew Huberman before. Like, he has been one of the few youtubers I watch. I'm truly stoked that he lives and breathes what he preaches ❣️. What an excellent example of a human being. Grateful for his work that allows me to grow towards being a better human!
I love this! Running and carrying rocks up mountains are some of my favorite things! I love the reactions I get when I pass others who are out of breath and barely getting along and I run by with a rock. I love to share with them that just a few years ago I could barely walk. I hope I’ve motivated a few. It’s such a great feeling.
I religiously listen to the Huberman Lab and I sincerely don't understand how a single human being can teach at Stanford, have one of the most successful science podcasts ever, go on other peoples podcasts, handle social media bs all day long, do AMAs, give speeches, run a lab, get grants, follow current scientific developments and also look like a GODDAMN DEMIGOD. I can't even strive to be like him he's so far up in the stratosphere. I'm proud to be a fan. And even though I don't know him I'm proud of him like he's a close relative. I hope he keeps helping us all for a long time.
I subscribed after watching the discussion on God. Andrew is solidly one of the most respected and looked up to individuals I seek knowledge from, I love neuroscience, in my life and your podcast helped guide me further with strength in my faith as those like him I look up to stand and share their faith.
After watching this a couple months ago, every time now that I take my 2 dogs out for a walk, either around my hilly neighborhood (about 0.5 miles around) to around the nearby park (about 2.5 miles, over hilly terrain as well), I've been taking out and carrying my 20lbs slam ball. Sometimes, I'll go with the ball and also with 20lbs in my hiking backpack. And I'm never letting that ball touch the ground either. Definitely sucks at times. Especially when I just don't feel like it. But it sucks so good and is so worth it. The accomplishment I get and feel afterwards... Just. Wow. Thank you guys. And keep on rockin'! 🤘
Cam you really brought the best out of Huberman. Because of this and your podcast I've gained so much more respect for him and his teachings. God bless you both for doing what you do.
I knew I would listen to Huberman for a reason.! lol he practices what he preaches and you can tell by his body. I’m beyond impressed and that is my new goal is to be like him when I grow up 😂
@@michaelgrad3631 TRT is not consider gear in my opinion. As we get older our bodies as men will start losing more and more of it. You can’t be on anything and just like this. His diet, health protocols and fasting is a result of this. Your statement is an easy way out of saying he’s not discipline all areas of his life. Maybe you should check out his work and learn a thing or two.
Easily my favourite episode and the one I was looking forward to the most. What a time to be alive, with so many amazing podcasts and people to learn from. Now we need a episode with Jocko!
What a beast man. I mean the guy is shredded, humble and a well spoken and incredibly intelligent human. This guy is the whole package!!! Love Andrew Humerman. This guy is changing people for the better.
Huberman is a man of the people. He’s such an intelligent and moral person that is giving valuable and unbiased information away for free. The guy is fucking awesome.
Following Huberman for quite some time now, he changed a lot in my life, for a better. Training, supplemtation, daily routine and so on. I heard him speaking about his life while on the Pdcast 2 bears, 1 cave and thought, damn he wasnt born a nerd :-D But this lift, run, shoot with my favorite badass Cam Hanes, who is inspiring me for many years now, I really really highly impressed by Huberman. Great role model, an inspiration and seems to be a funny cool dude. Thanks for sharing that.
