I have been looking around at lifting my truck and want to run a 6 inch lift with 35x12.5 -44 on a 04 GMC Sierra 1500 and I went to a shop near me and the guy said he would never do a NorCal tuck because it's a major mod and it messes up your truck. Is that true? Also what's the best budget lift?

Ik it kinda makes it easier to take off another of the shit to get the strut out but u dont even need to do that. Just turn ur wheel all the way opposite of the side ur working on and disconnect ur upper control arm and just slip it out.

I was looking into putting a leveling kit on my 94 c1500, but the website I'm buying it from says I need aftermarket control arms. Is that true???

I know it's only a leveling kit but is it best to go ahead an replace the shocks I mean you there anyway ? I'm looking to do this to my single cab 2013 ram 1500 but with 22's stock R/T rims with 33's tire most likely atturo trail blade my but I was also looking into the hybrid cause I don't do any off road just city and little country driving

So know this is a very old video and who knows if you guys still check these comments on it but here goes. I have an 07 with this kit put on by the prev owner. The back was also lifted 2 or 2.5 so it still has a rake but fits 35's with a slight rub at full crank in front. I'd like to go slightly higher in the front if possible but don't know if it's a good idea with the angles of all the joints etc. Suggestions?

Do you need different shocks for the level in the front. Would it look fine if you just level the front and not put the blocks in the rear

It's weird that he would ask a question to someone in the shop, while recording, on the height difference between the front and back with the level installed. Just a little odd.

I just order some 33x12.5 inch tires for my 2wd f150. It currently sits one inch lower in the front than the back. I know I will have to raise it at least 2 inches in the front so that the tires will fit. Ideally I would like my truck to sit leveled. I was thinking I could put a 2.5 inch spacer in the front and a 1.5 inch block in the rear and I would be leveled and my tires would fit. My concern now is, will these spacers and blocks cause damage to my truck over time?

why does my truck after the 2.5 rough country lift i have a popping or hitting sound after a bump?? didnt have it before the lift. i had the struts replaced not to long ago

So if I go more than a 2.5" lift spacer like a 3" spacer I will ruin my truck suspension?

I see people do different things .basically I have a 2009 Ford F-150 I have a 6 inch rough country Lift kit and I also have a set of wheels I got from you guys. 22 x 14 with 35 inch tires I wanted to change out the tires and put 37” any advice you can guys can give me will be perfect. I seen other people on your gallery where they put a spacer in the front and blocks in the rear to add to the 6 inch rough country two give it a little bit more height what do you suggest I need exactly to accomplish this?

I spent about 3 hours on this and couldn’t get the bottom of my shock to go in place.

Okay. Imma let everyone know this. On the 11th gen f150 you should only put a 1inch leveling kit on. The reason is the uppercontrol arm will be super close to the coilover. This is very dangerous and I wouldn’t even recommend a leveling kit on a 11th gen. You can tell in the video how close it is. If your really wanting to you could get a suspension lift kit with drop down brackets that straighten everything better than stock and then you possibly could put a 2.5 or 3 but I don’t recommend doing leveling kits at all. Also rough country isnt the way to go either for wanting to put a leveling kit on top of suspension Spend the extra money and get a suspension lift please.

It's a different idea. My opinion not a good one. Drive angle changes go against engineers specs. Your parts will wear out faster. Just leave it stock it's much more cooler
