In this presentation Rheid Schloss part of the HPE Storage Solutions & Technical Enablement team shares the Best Practices of using a lightboard for video. This video talks about the Camera Side of videoing with a lightboard.
I love the use of light boards, but I also need a teleprompter for the stuff I do, so using a light board is not possible but if I ever use one, this is one of the best references I will have for using one. Thanks!
After two DIY lightboard attempts we standardized on lightboard from Learning Glass. DIY boards got us started but the quality of the glass just wasn't good. The DIY glass started showing chalk pen residue after a couple of uses. The Learning Glass unites are well designed and are built on two light dimmers to control the intensity of the light facing the presenter and the light highlighting the glass.
@@RheidSchloss The one in this video is from Learning Glass? I thought their models all worked on white LED lights? Trying to build my own and wondering what do you feel makes the markers show up better... white LED or blacklight and do you know what kind of blacklight is in the board you're using in the video?
